Another year around the sun ❤️

A rainy October Monday in our fine city, which, as it turns out, is a rather lovely way to spend a birthday. Nothing particularly grand planned, just a day of pottering about London doing all the things I ♥️.

First stop Tate for the 90s exhibition, then off to Marylebone for the Margaret Howell photography exhibition, a good old browse in Daunt Books and a quick pit stop at Lina Stores With a bit of time to kill before dinner, we somehow found ourselves sneaking in the bar at CLARIDGE’S, As you do. 🙃

Then east to Dalston for a perfect little dinner at The Little Duck | The Picklery

It rained, walked miles, ate well, drank a little and London did that thing it does where even an ordinary grey Monday feels a bit magical. 🌧️

THE REVEAL | ABBEY

Over the past few weeks, I’ve had the pleasure of working on one of the most ambitious and rewarding projects I’ve been involved in
the complete furnishing, curation and styling of this incredible barn at Abbey Yard, Suffolk, for Harry C.J. Wix and Nest Developments.

From the initial concept and sourcing trips to selecting furniture, lighting, art and those all-important finishing touches, it’s been a huge undertaking and an absolute joy to see the space come to life.

The aim was to create a home that feels both architectural and inviting, bringing together contemporary design, beautiful craftsmanship and considered details within this extraordinary setting.
And now, I’m so excited to finally share the finished result.

The really exciting part? Everything you see is available to buy and theres more great news!

The property is now being offered for sale and the carefully curated collection of furniture, lighting, artwork and accessories is also available to purchase, with many pieces offered at SPECIAL prices below RRP!!!

September always feels a little like the start of a new year and a good moment to share the next chapter for Tea + Kate.

Our newly updated website brings together the two sides of Tea + Kate: an independent design store offering limited, carefully curated product drops, alongside creative and commercial consultancy for design, interiors and lifestyle brands.

Looking back on this beautiful exhibition 🖤

This was a two day exhibition by a long term favourite just around the corner from my apartment. Unfortunately I arrived too late for the opening party but I made it just in time for a sunny quiet early morning stroll.

As expected it didn’t disappoint…

Milan Design Week is highly anticipated by design, architecture, fashion and art lovers alike. I hadn’t attended before and it didn’t disappoint. This beautiful city comes alive with exhibitions, events and parties of all kinds from emerging designers at the start of their careers to the world’s leading design brands. Every space presents a unique experience each becoming a stop on the map as part of a long and inspiring itinerary that I only just skimmed! I can’t wait to go back and do it all over again 🇮🇹
