A beautiful new build in the final stages

🔐 Orisec Grade 2 intruder alarm
📲 Akuvox access control and intercoms, with an S563 internal monitor in white that also views the CCTV
🚪 Aligate .uk custom waterjet-cut gates featuring the house name and a certain Nova signature emblem 😉, finished in a custom RAL colour, plus an electric-release pedestrian gate
⚙️ CAME sliding gate automation
🛡️ Safety covered with a mix of BEA safety lasers, safety edges and photocells

One Orisec fob does it all: arm the alarm, open the gate and operate both garage doors, integrated using Shelly relays.

New barrier install in Cheriton, Folkestone 🚧

We’ve fitted CAME UK CAME GARD GT4 barriers to control access to a communal car park, working on behalf of property managers Folkestone Estate Agent Smith Woolley.

The boom and cabinet crown are fully illuminated and double up as a traffic light:
🔴 Red while the barrier is down
🔴 Flashing Red while the barrier is moving
🟢 Green when it’s clear to drive through

Drivers get a clear signal day or night, and residents get a tidy, secure entrance.

Cloud managed remote fobs, ideal for managing a system with many users!

Super proud of this team.
The monthly breakfast meet-up, sun’s out, so the perfect opportunity to get a photo in.
Taking a moment to say how proud I am of Team Nova and how far we’ve come.
Only 7 years trading, starting out in a log cabin and a Suzuki Jimny, Nova has grown into something we could only have dreamt of. We’ve built an incredibly efficient organisation, delivering the projects we’ve secured and earning the trust of some exceptional clients.
Becoming NSI accredited for Intruder, CCTV and Access Control, and more recently achieving BAFE Fire Alarm accreditation, gives our clients complete confidence that every system we design, install and maintain meets the highest industry standards. It’s an honour to be trusted by schools, commercial clients, national M&E groups, MPs, the MOD and names we can’t mention. The list goes on.
None of that happens without the people. It’s not just the 6 in the photo delivering our high-quality work, and we’re hugely grateful to our key wider workforce network for joining us along the way.
Rob has hit the ground running. After 21 years of loyal dedication at his previous firm, he’s brought a wealth of experience and knowledge that’s already making a real difference, nothing seems to phase him!
Jack started completely fresh over 3 years ago and has become an incredible engineer. Happy to tackle any challenge thrown his way, no fuss, just gets it done.
Jim has been a fantastic asset to the team and picked up his Skills4Security course and is absolutely smashing it.
And Tracy, our Finance Manager and a fully qualified accountant, has been the backbone of the finance side and has kept Georgie and myself heading strategically in the right direction.
Proud to work alongside every one of you.
Let’s see what the next chapter brings 👊
