🎃 Don't throw away your pumpkin!

If you're carving pumpkins this Halloween, save the flesh and turn it into a warming homemade pumpkin soup. It's easy, comforting and perfect for a chilly October evening.

Easy Pumpkin Soup

You'll need:
•⁠ ⁠Pumpkin flesh
•⁠ ⁠1 onion
•⁠ ⁠2 garlic cloves
•⁠ ⁠1 carrot
•⁠ ⁠750ml vegetable stock
•⁠ ⁠A splash of cream
•⁠ ⁠Salt and pepper
•⁠ ⁠A pinch of smoked paprika or chilli, if you fancy a little kick

Simply:
Cook the onion, garlic and carrot until softened, then add your pumpkin and stock. Simmer until everything is tender, blend until smooth and finish with a splash of cream.

Serve with crusty bread and you've got an easy autumn dinner from something that might otherwise have ended up in the bin. 🍂

We love a kitchen island, but we’ll also be the first to say that not every kitchen needs one.

The right island should earn its place in the room. For some clients, that means extra prep space and storage. For others, it’s somewhere to cook while chatting to family, grab breakfast in the morning or gather with friends over a glass of w**e.

Size matters too. An island that’s too large can interrupt the flow of the kitchen, while one that’s carefully proportioned can completely change how the room works.

That’s why we always start with the space and how you want to use it, rather than simply adding an island because it’s on the wish list.
