We have been delighted to welcome the lovely and highly motivated Elsa from Wycombe Abbey, to undertake some architectural work experience here at the Landmark HQ in Gerrards Cross.

She was tasked with creating a mixed use, public/private development with financials. This will be presented to the local planning authority as a real case for consideration.

It is safe to say, she produced an excellent end product, one worthy of a budding future Architect.

A pleasure to have around the office and always welcome back at any time!

Your site decides the reports you'll need.
Rural plots, barns, roof works or ponds nearby can trigger ecology surveys. Conservation areas, listed buildings and tree root zones need heritage and tree reports. Flood zones and nutrient catchments need flood risk and drainage strategies. Landmark Group maps these early so the design follows the constraints. Thinking about an extension or loft conversion?
Most houses in England can carry out certain works under permitted development without a full planning application. The limits cover depth, height, materials and earlier extensions. They do not cover flats or listed buildings, and they can be removed in conservation areas or by Article 4 directions.
A lawful development certificate gives formal confirmation from the council. Landmark Group will check the position against your house before any drawings are produced.

Received a council planning letter this week?
The deadlines start the day it arrives. Twenty-one days to return a planning contravention notice. Twenty-eight days before an enforcement notice usually takes effect. Twelve weeks to appeal a householder refusal. Landmark handles the free review for homes, rentals, shops and workshops, including retrospective and appeal cases.
