I forgot to take before pictures, but these are too nice not to share. In a traditional style, the stair wood was painted light, leaving just the bannister in a darker wood. Also a new coat of paint in the bedroom in this gorgeous shade of green. I painted the door previously on different occasion.

This was a real learning curve using these handmade tiles from Mexico. They were beautiful to cut, like butter, and were all different, meaning they were all also completely different sizes (see photo 2). As a tiler we are all about precision, lining things up and making sure everything is straight. Using these tiles went against all that and made me feel somewhat anxious as to how it would all turn out! I had to use the spacers in different positions to allow for a smaller tile sitting next to a larger tile and so on. Anyway I’m pleased to say that it looked really great in the end, and the fact that all the tiles were slightly different in size and colour only added to the work!

I loved tiling this bathroom and putting up the new rail, really pleased with how it turned out (previously a shower room). Fully tanked ready for the shower, plus the bath was a little shorter than the space so l made some additional boxing in. Plumbing by the Gas & Waterworks.

The customers had already started painting their hallway, but got me in to do the trickier bits, ie up the stairs and landing (walls only). This was a gorgeous paint to use and included a self primer, and what a great match for the wonderful tiled floor!
