So it's Tuesday and it's drizzling.
The kettles on and I've been singing Christmas songs all morning for Knot Another Choir rehearsal. So maybe I just got a little too giddy, far too early, with the whole Christmas vibe.
One thing is for sure. The Christmas stash is not safe in the workshop!

Well that the last time I do the whole type A organised to crazy dizzy height levels.

Normally I'm still loading my van at 9pm on a Friday night but today was different.... everything was going smoothly, too smoothly it seems ! 😆😆

You see the gazebo,although in a busy marketplace can be as lonely as the hospital bedside, if your mind is somewhere else. And today mine definitely is.

Tomorrow is Esmee's 18th Birthday and this is huge for our family.

For those of you guys who were with us through that part of Esmee's life know how hard that was for us as a family.
But for those of you who weren't let me just say. There was a period of Esmee's life where many doctors,consultants prepared us for the end of Esmee's life, again and again.

And here she is about to turn 18 years old. Adulthood.

I can't tell you how hard and for how long we prayed for this day but it hit me yesterday like a ton of bricks.

So today I need to be at home, with my family.

I'm sorry if I'm letting anyone down but I'm hoping people understand that I can't simply put on a smile today and get on with it. Xx

Well, yesterday, I couldn't help but noticed the deafening silence on the delivery run to Just Makers in Skipton....

Kids are back in school and it's very weird.

But we are cracking on here at head quarters!!

It's a strange feeling being so tired and yet full of beans at the same time.

We have had an amazing time this week. I have laughed so much,but, one story in particular nearly broke my heart.

It took a huge amount of Courage but I was honoured that this wonderful lady chose to come back to my stall (after reading about our link with GOSH) to tell me her story.

A truly humbling moment that filled me with gratitude and gently reminded me of our journey so far.
