A bit of sawdust and a lot of focus in the workshop. There’s something so satisfying about seeing a project finally move from the drawing board to the bench. It’s the best part of the job.

How do you make a large, open-plan space feel cosy?

In this Surrey Hills country home, the beautiful oak frame brings character and warmth to the room, complemented by soft, neutral cabinetry and natural materials.

A generous kitchen island connects the cooking and dining areas, while bespoke cabinetry around the original brick fireplace creates a more intimate setting for relaxing and entertaining.

Carefully considered lighting completes the picture, making this a space that feels just as inviting on a cosy winter evening as it does on a bright summer morning.

A beautiful shade of Dix Blue sets the tone for this bespoke kitchen in a mid-century home in Haslemere.

By opening up the original kitchen into the living room, we've created a generous, open-plan space that's perfect for everyday family life. We particularly love the painted ash cabinetry, with its subtle wood grain, the oak-lined larder cupboard and the matching utility and boot room.

There's plenty more to see from this project, so head over to our blog for more photos and to read about the details in the design.

Inspired by the classic Victorian cook’s table, our bespoke Chef’s Table brings a wonderful sense of character to this beautiful country kitchen.

Handcrafted in our own workshop, with beautifully turned legs, dovetail drawers and a rich timber finish, it offers an elegant alternative to the conventional kitchen island.

And paired with that magnificent blue Aga, it's a combination of craftsmanship, character and timeless country style.

The kitchen is beautiful, of course, but just look at that barn!

With its magnificent exposed oak beams, soaring vaulted ceilings and wonderful sense of space, this stunning barn conversion near Petworth is quite something.

Our bespoke kitchen, with its rich green cabinetry and quartz worktops, has been carefully designed to complement the original character of the building, bringing together traditional craftsmanship and contemporary country living.

A truly beautiful setting for a kitchen.

Now THIS is a pool house! 🤎

Part of our recent Surrey Hills country house project, this stunning pool house takes a completely different design direction from the traditional kitchen in the main house.

Rich chocolate tones, beautifully textured handleless cabinetry and a full width bronze mirrored splashback create a wonderfully contemporary feel. Soft integrated lighting and a the long timber table with stools bring warmth to the space.

We particularly love the contrast between the dark, matt cabinetry and the reflective bronze mirror. A beautiful space for entertaining, relaxing and enjoying life by the pool.

This one is pretty special.

Part of a huge renovation of an established country home in the Surrey Hills, working with the kitchen and dining space was reworked the, retaining the existing oak frame to create this incredible family kitchen.

The island was always going to be the star - designed around the original oak posts, with both the Bora and Belfast sink positioned to make the most of those views.

Contemporary classic in-frame cabinetry, Johnstone’s Linen, Cloudy Gris quartz and burnished brass details throughout, with a hardworking utility tucked away next door.

There’s lots more to see from this one. Take a look at the full project via the link below – or come back next week when we reveal the pool house…

Well, these have turned out rather nicely… Our brand new Charter Walk brochures have arrived, and we’re absolutely delighted with them.

Packed with some of our favourite projects, plenty of beautiful details and a little more about how we design kitchens and interiors, they’re a lovely introduction to what we do – and to the homes we create with our clients.

There’s something very satisfying about seeing it all in print. And yes, Ben really is that pleased with them.

Pop into either the Haslemere or Eashing showroom and pick up a copy.
