Fiat and Alfa specialists since 2002

Seems also to be Fiat week..
We have also had three bookings for Fiat 500 dualogic issues in the last 24 hours!
That's aside from our weekly workload.

A Giulietta 1.4 owner had a new clutch and service at an Alfa specialist nr Worthing and got a bill just short of £2000. WOW.

So i always said the stelvio or Giulia 280 bhp was more than enough power, especially considering the maintenance and running costs of the Stelvio quadrifoglio as the alternative.

That was until I was offered one at a good price, metallic red with a truly magical Alfa engine.....

There are some out there that get these to do 0-62 mph in 3.3 seconds . How much quicker can a road legal Alfa Stelvio get !

One big advantage to this is we will have quite a lot more of hands on experience working on and servicing the quadrifoglio.

We are back on October 2nd guys.

Hi Guys,
Just to mention the workshop will be closed from September 22nd till Oct 3rd. There may be some workmen there at times during this period but essentially its closed.

20/08/2026

Early week it was Stelvios mid week its Giulias.

A poorly 4c tried to gatecrash the party but being as he is a valued customer we are on the case and within days he will be riding high...

With a replacement shock absorber .

As usual we thank Alfashop an Alfa workshop for an excellent service and pricing on modern Alfa parts.

Liam has joined us and Russell is helping fit a clutch in a classic spider next week.

Some great cars in as well as a 2017 Jeep Renagade for a cambelt change today .

The customer came to us from Kent perhaps its because we did the job and a full diag check and check over for under £360.

Another interesting week. Customers drove off after our work on the fab 1960 Fiat 500 with su***de doors.
We had a 24 reg Tonale in, a yellow x19 a lovely red 4c as well as the usual suspects.

An anonymous customer sent me a wingman b**r glass. Took me a while to figure out who it was! As you may know if I was flying goose would still be alive...

02/07/2026

We had three Stelvios in one day ( we love them)

French reg Alfa 159, 1750 estate we sorted the steering lock ecu problem customer more than happy and on his way.

Jeep Cherookee front discs and pads at half the price of alternative quotes.

We had a lovely 156 in for an mot, we see maybe ten a year used to do two or three a day twenty or twenty five years ago....

We are really busy, a couple of easy jobs turned into long jobs after problems due to the age of the cars. I recon we will be back on track in around a week. Absolutely no one has grumbled and I appreciate your patience. It hit 37c + in our small workshop today so I called it a day a 3.15. Both the mot station and other garage beside us closed before us so I dont feel so bad.
In the garden for a cold b**r before we open at 06.50 tomorrow . Will crack on with the gta oil cooler and Fiat 500 rear subframe. In the meantime a really cold b**r.

20/06/2026

It was great to have a classic su***de door 500 convertible in this week

Lots of servicing this week , from a lovely 23 reg Stelvio to countless 500s.

Hi Guys,
We spent a short while in Italy at lake Como, we are back at work now.

The holiday home was courtesy of a long term customer! It was very near the supermarket and three minutes from the ferry stop for a ferry ride into Como costing a few euros. Or catch the ferry at really cheap rates that goes in the opposite direction stopping at waterside towns with bars and restaurants.

Its only fair i give Adrianos holiday home a plug he is also Sussex based. ilcortilettocomo.com.
