🔨 Another one ticked off and completed by LTB Plastering
What was originally planned as a straightforward full re-skim turned into a little more than expected once the wallpaper was stripped back.
On closer inspection, the ceiling had multiple significant cracks and a noticeable bow, with signs that it was starting to fail. Rather than simply skimming over the problem, I had a conversation with the customer and recommended the best course of action: overboarding the ceiling to provide a more suitable, stable surface and a better finish for the long term.
With the ceiling sorted, it was on to preparing the walls, including bonding where sections of the existing plaster had come away with the wallpaper. Once all the necessary preparation was complete, it was time to get the plaster on! 👌🏻
This is why I always believe in assessing the job properly and recommending the right solution, rather than simply doing what was originally planned. It’s about getting the best possible result for the customer and ensuring the work is done right.
Another job completed, another happy customer! ✅
