Here at SGS we are a small team of close friends and family that has vast experience from many different aspects of the construction industry with a sprinkling of business acumen, all rolled up in a successful and well run business. We formed in 2014 and the business has gone from strength to strength ever since and gained an excellent reputation in the local and not so local community. We are also now the proud sponsors of Southwater FC enabling them to get a brand new kit ready for the new season. We offer hard landscaping services and we're proud to be one of the highest rated landscaping experts in our local area. We work with a variety of materials and methods, from traditional concrete and tarmac services to the increasingly popular resin bound gravel option. We are starting another exciting project at Horley Health Hub NHS, and despite the challenging weather conditions, our team is keeping things moving! 🌧️

Getting the initial stages of any project right is essential. A solid foundation is key to ensuring the final surfacing layers can be installed to a high standard, providing a long lasting finish.

A special thank you to HGS Southern Ltd for their support in getting this project underway. Their prompt attendance and reliable service have been invaluable in helping us make a strong start and keeping everything running smoothly.

Great teamwork all round, and we look forward to sharing the final results.

Project Completion | South Lodge Hotel & Spa

Our team recently completed a resin bound pathway at the beautiful South Lodge Hotel & Spa in Horsham.

The works included the installation of granite sett edging, followed by a resin bound finish in Tuscan, supplied by our trusted supplier Vuba Kent Vuba

The finished pathway provides a durable, attractive surface that complements the surrounding landscape.

It has been a privilege to contribute to this project, particularly at such a well established venue local to us.

An exciting new project underway at South Lodge

Another project completed for a valued repeat client, Thermo Fisher Scientific in Horsham.

New pathways installed, giving the site a fresh, clean and durable finish.

Another project complete, this time over in East Grinstead on a multi-resident access road.

Covering an area of approximately 420m2, the team hand laid AC10 dense binder at 35mm, leaving a clean and tidy finish for the residents.

Another great effort from the team and another project ticked off the list! 👏

Proud to support local 🏉

SGS Surfacing were really pleased to recently sponsor Hill Rugby , with our donation going towards the Under 12s post-match ties for this season.

The boys received their new ties at their presentation evening, and our very own Sam, Zach and Lee went along to present them.

Such a good evening and lovely to be able to support a local club and the next generation of players.

Wishing the boys a great season ahead!👏

The team have been working hard this week to make sure the preparation is spot on for this domestic project in Burgess Hill.

With the prep complete, the guys have barrowed and raked 40t, getting everything ready for the final resin layer.

A lot of hard work goes into getting to this stage, but good preparation makes all the difference to the finished result.

The SGS Surfacing team have been busy preparing this domestic project in Burgess Hill, getting everything ready for the next stage of works and the installation of a resin bound finish.
