Pictures from last week for a client in Whitburn, large livingroom area, bay window wall was all new plaster done by DW Plastering (wouldn't recommend anyone else) wall was all sealed, ceilings where all refreshed using dulux matt emulsion, then client decided to change bay window ceiling to blend with walls (great decision as looks amazing) we had a few issues with some walls around the back window, flaking paint, peeling etc, all that was removed, treated etc, large gaps between wall and skirtings. All raked out, filled and caulked, old houses are never straight 🤣 walls where a nightmare 😳, silk on majority and going matt, walls where prepared and did take many coats (dulux pine needle) but wow , it looks amazing 👏 all woodwork was also refreshed in dulux trade high gloss, the stark white against the green is stunning, we where also asked to add on radiator covers, those where all prepared and finished in pine needle to blend into walls 😁

Some pictures from a job completed this morning for some lovely new clients in jarrow, breast and alcoves all papered throughout using a gorgeous eye catching metallic paper, we came away with our supper and dessert 🤣 and a tip 😀 a delicious home made curry and huge bar of galaxy 😋 can't wait to tuck in shortly. We are also nearly on 1k followers 🙌 I dont usually ask this , but it would be amazing if you wouldn't mind inviting your friends, family etc to follow the page ,the majority of our work is word of mouth but getting out there really helps, and only takes a second of anyone's time, plus we would hugely appreciate it 😁😁

So last week we where in Whitburn, working on this beautiful project for a wonderful client, these pics show the before and after, but what they dont show is all the prep in between, all the filling, caulking, sanding down posts , prepping mdf radiator covers, blood ,sweat and nearly tears 🤣 the hard work that goes into every job, which take just minutes to scroll through, we did have a few set backs on this one, peeling walls, flaking paint, also a colour change 2 days in , walls above panneling originally where coated in farrow and ball school house white, with panneling in farroe and ball skimmingstone, but after all was coated we stood back and made a mutual decision to go lighter on walls, amazing client who trusted the process aswell as recommendations, so we then changed to white cotton for walls, all ceilings throughout where also given two full coats of dulux brilliant white in matt, we also decided to change up the posts and handrail to bannister area , (originally all one shade ) so with majority now skimmingstone we went with brilliant white gloss for posts, bannister to blend in with all remaining white woodwork, (doors, architraves, skirtings and sills) upstairs radiator covers painted to match walls, we also completed clients large livingroom area (pictures to follow) its always enjoyable seeing these larger projects come together ❤️ and standing back at the finish line to view your work , thank you to the client for trusting us and to myself and Wayne and our daughter abbie who came on board for two days to help with minor prep work and helping with painting radiator covers , its been a long week haha , now onto the next 😉

One from a few weeks back, unfortunately the majority of the photos I took that day have vanished lol, returning clients bedroom area, feature wall in papered using a patten Match pannel effect paper, ceiling was refreshed in white, majority of walls in a very light pink shade, paper wall was then painted in this gorgeous valpar shade, all woodwork was also refreshed using dulux trade satinwood 😁

Some pictures from out work from Friday and Saturday, new clients in boldon , two bedrooms. First room needed extra prep, a previous leak to ceiling, had to remove two small sections, stain block water stains, zinnser peel stop, filling , sanding and repeat, also extra filling to walls, ceiling was finished in dulux, walls in dulux Egyptian cotton 😀 second bedroom ceiling and majority of walls finished in dulux white matt emulsion, feature wall refreshed (the name of shade has vanished from my memory 😅) we have some last minute availability for December if anyone would like a quote please reach out 😄

Some pictures from our work yesterday for a new client in south shields, Livingroom, porch, staircase and small landing, no ceilings where completed on this one, majority of walls where finished in dulux easycare polished pebble, feature wall in dulux easycare chic shadow, handrail was prepped, re-primed and undercoated in some areas, finished in a mix of dulux trade satinwood in dulux chic shadow, all white woodwork was refreshed using dulux trade satinwood, also all frame work and skirtings in kitchen plus inside bathroom door 😄

Some pictures from last week, for one of our returning clients. Who just wanted a basic freshen up, hallway area, ceiling plus top of dado all refreshed in dulux matt emulsion, below dado in dulux Egyptian cotton, dado was given x2 coats of RAW transparent osmo oil, only woodwork that clinet wanted done was inside bathroom , door etc, Livingroom doors and inside kitchen area, bathroom ceiling needed quite alot of old flaking paint removed, treated with zinnser peelstop, sanded down , filled where needed and finished in zinnser perma white, kitchen area , walls from grey to easycare dulux Egyptian cotton, woodwork in dulux trade high gloss, Livingroom walls and ceilings all refreshed using dulux 😃

A little late in posting these, from our work the otehr week for some new clients in north shields, Livingroom area, some water stains to ceiling due to previous leak, all sanded down, stain blocked and as good as new, ceilings and walls finished in dulux easycare pure brilliant white matt emulsion, woodwork, x3 new doors where prepped, primed and undercoated, then all woodwork finished using dulux trade high gloss, breast wall was then papered using this stunning patten paper, 😁 we also completed clients kitchen and bathroom (pictures to follow ) 😀
