What a brilliant night celebrating one of our own! 🎉

The Pure Block Management team had a fantastic evening at the Hull & Humber Top 30 Under 30s at DoubleTree by Hilton Hull, and we were incredibly proud to see our Compliance Manager, George Baker, recognised as part of the Class of 2026. 👏

It was a great opportunity to celebrate George’s achievement together and mark the end of what has been a fantastic Top 30 Under 30 experience for him.

Our team have been working hard on their professional development this year, building their skills through apprenticeships alongside their day-to-day roles 🎓

And they’re making great progress:

🎓 Liam – Senior Housing and Property Management Level 4 – progressing well and aiming to complete in 2027

🎓 Sarah – Senior Housing and Property Management Level 4 – progressing well and aiming to complete in 2027

🎓 Gemma – AAT Certificate in Accounting Level 2 – completed with Distinction! 👏
🎓 Jasmine – Business and Administration Level 3 – powering through and aiming to complete in early 2027

For us, professional development is about more than gaining qualifications.

Developing expertise across property management, finance and business administration helps us build a more rounded, knowledgeable team, with different skill sets working together to deliver the best possible service.

Great work, team! 💚

Local expertise, across a growing area📍

From our offices in Hull and York, we can manage blocks and residential developments across Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire, keeping our teams within approximately an hour of the properties we look after.

Because wherever your property or development is, responsive and hands-on management matters.

Our partnership with Hull Animal Welfare Trust is particularly close to home for our Accounts Administrator, Gemma 🐾

Gemma adopted Nova from the charity in 2022 after a difficult start to her life.

Four years later, Nova is a much-loved member of the family (and apparently the rightful owner of most of the sofa!).

We caught up with Gemma about their story, her experience of adopting through the Trust and why supporting its work means so much to her 💙

A day at the races! 🏇🥂

We had a fantastic time at York Races with Wainwrights last week!

It was a brilliant day of racing, great company and a lovely opportunity to catch up away from the usual day-to-day.

A huge thank you to the Wainwrights team for the invitation and for bringing everyone together. It's always great to spend time with the people we work alongside in a more relaxed setting.

Congratulations to our competition winner, Hayley Riley and the very handsome Mr Goose… or Goosey Gander… or Bruce Spruce… or, as he’s now known, Gunth! 😂🐾

Hayley’s entry was randomly selected as our winner, taking home a £20 Amazon voucher 🎉

A huge thank you to everyone who got involved and shared their pets’ many, many nicknames with us. We loved reading them.

The competition was a bit of fun, but it was also another opportunity for us to get people talking about Hull Animal Welfare Trust and the wonderful work they do caring for animals in need.

We’re proud to support the charity throughout our partnership and help raise awareness of their work along the way. 💚

Building better communities, one paw at a time. 🐾

September has been all about giving a little something back. 🐾

As part of our charity partnership with Hull Animal Welfare Trust, the Pure Block Management team has been collecting food, blankets, toys and other much-needed supplies throughout the month to support the animals in their care.

A fantastic effort from the Pure Block Management team and a special thank you to PIB Insurance Brokers, Willow Pumps Limited, Head-on Electrical Ltd and Sharpe Maintenance Services , who donated to the collection.

We hope there’s plenty of wagging tails as a result! 🐶🐱

Just a little something to help build better communities, one paw at a time.

If you want to support Hull Animal Welfare Trust, take a look at their Amazon wish list https://www.amazon.co.uk/hz/wishlist/ls/1BTGAS51CAVQA?ref_=wl_share&fbclid=IwY2xjawUGF_5wZG9mBWV4dG4DYWVtAjEwAGJyaWQRMFNkejZKc2k0aFhoQWVWbFVzcnRjBmFwcF9pZBAyMjIwMzkxNzg4MjAwODkyAAEejy6HcBse0OOzTYtxPp6gELuizzJzdBoz0p4XRlfgSpuZJ3gIH4UgAmiEFlo_aem_brdrb5TfuXGsROq2c33vuQ

And that’s a wrap! 🐾

Our pet nickname competition is officially closed, and you’ve given us some brilliant (and slightly questionable 😂) names!

A huge thank you to everyone who entered. We’ll select one lucky winner at random from all eligible entries and announce them shortly.

Keep an eye on the post to find out who’s taking home the £20 Amazon voucher. 👀🐶🐱

Good block management takes a wide range of skills and expertise, and strong financial management is a vital part of keeping developments running effectively and sustainably.

After more than 20 years working in residential property and sales, Sam Baldwin brought her industry experience to a new challenge within our accounts team.

We caught up with Sam to hear what she’s learned, what’s stood out about Pure Block Management and why the financial side of property management matters so much.

We’re incredibly proud of George. A very well-deserved place in this year’s Top 30 Under 30! 🎉
