A little bit of history hidden under these stairs! 👀

From refreshing the preparation to Fitter of the Year-winning standards, to carefully hand-sewing the bullnose, it's all about the little details that make the difference. 🏆

But here's the best bit… the cupboard under these very stairs was the first carpet James ever fitted! All these years later, it's still looking great! 😂

A lovely reminder of where it all started, and how far the journey has come. ❤️

Good craftsmanship is made to last.

Apparently getting the carpet to the job was the interesting bit… 😂🚲

So here’s what happened once we actually got it there.

The finished result from our 3-part installation — properly prepared, professionally fitted and finished exactly as it should be.

Turns out the bike wasn’t the hardest part. 👀

What do you think of the finished room?

Following recent feedback regarding tradespeople and vans, we’ve reviewed our transport policy. Please accept our apologies if we’re a little late, there's plenty of hills in and around Leeds 🚲 😂

Remember that rather large carpet from the last video? 👀

Well, this is where it was heading…

From rolling it out to the final vacuum, here’s a little glimpse of what goes into turning all that carpet into a properly fitted room. ✂️

And we’re not quite done yet — wait until you see the whole job finished. 👌

We’re seriously proud of the finish James has achieved on these stairs.

At first glance, they might just look flawless — and that’s exactly the point.

The gap between the skirting and the steps makes this type of finish far more challenging than it looks. Getting everything to flow cleanly, consistently and seamlessly takes a huge amount of skill, precision and problem-solving.

Sometimes the best craftsmanship is the craftsmanship you don’t notice.

When the finished result looks this simple, it’s easy to forget just how difficult it was to make it look that way. 👌
