Grillo Grillo Outdoor Kitchens and Bars | Bold. Beautiful. British. Simple By Design
British By Design
We listened. Beautiful in design, yet simple in construction.

What people wanted was outdoor kitchens that suited the British outdoors. The Grillo Forge was born, its clean, natural lines complement any property. Grillo Vantage followed soon after and is a true statement that takes its cue from the original Grillo Forge kitchen. The darker colours of the Vantage gives it a sleeker more contemporary feel, but both kitchens blend into almost every environment from a central London roof terrace to a rural Grade II-listed barn conversion. Grillo Outdoor Kitchens are based in Cambridge, England, we design and manufacture our kitchens in the UK.

Made and installed in Britain by Caribbean, the Grillo Pergola is colour- and size-matched to our outdoor kitchens, with four carefully considered sizes to suit our most popular layouts.

The thinking is simple: fewer options, better value, without compromising on quality.

"In some ways, Element embodies our original vision for an outdoor kitchen – simple, solid, design-led. Slice it in half and it’s Grillo to the heart." - our Founder

Element is a deliberately simplified outdoor kitchen range. It’s the same rock-solid quality, but offers a new entry point to Grillo.

BUILT BRITISH. BUILD STRONG. BUILT BEAUTIFUL.

We design and manufacture our outdoor kitchens right here in England. For everything we make, our mantra is simple: It has to be tough. It has to be beautiful. It has to be low maintenance. The proof is in a Corsa, a forklift, and the fact that the insurers didn’t have to get involved.

For so many garden lifestyle products out there, material choices are dictated by cost, not by longevity. We reject that approach. From the outset, the Vantage kitchen was developed by our designers and engineers – not by accountants.

3 things to consider when deciding where to place your outdoor kitchen...

1. Proximity to the house

Think about how the kitchen fits into the wider garden, what appliances you'll need and where you'll be dining. A sink and drinks fridge mean fewer trips back to the house, giving you more freedom with placement.

2. Where the sun falls

If you're a sun lover, consider where the sun will be at the times you're most likely to cook outside. However, if you choose to have a fridge outside, make sure this isn't placed in direct sunlight.

3. Do you need shelter?

If you plan to cook beyond spring and summer, shelter from wind and rain is worth considering. Unless you fancy standing over the BBQ with an umbrella.

Ultimately, the right spot should work for the cook, their guests and the garden as a whole.

📍Brentwood, Essex

From the chef’s side of the BBQ, almost the entire garden is in view. The galley-style layout gives the cook a working kitchen area, and the standing bar sits close enough to poolside for an almost swim-up feel. That same sense of order runs through the wider garden design. A change in paving marks out the kitchen, while repeated timber details connect the canopy with the adjoining annex, poolside structure and arches by the house.

📍Carbis Bay, Cornwall

Dinner with a sea view? We wouldn’t say no. Herringbone-style tiling grounds the dining area, while the simple straight-run Grillo outdoor kitchen feels right at home on the Cornish coast. Pizza from the Arc XL and a glass of w**e at the table overlooking the bay – there are worse ways to spend an evening.

Who says a London garden has to feel long and narrow?

Designed by Kate Eyre Garden Design, this Dulwich garden challenges the traditional city garden layout. Zoned spaces, generous planting and two kinds of paving break up the length of the garden, with the Grillo kitchen placed at its core.
