🏡 SECOND BUNGALOW PLASTERED – LISKEARD 🏡
Another one ticked off! 💪
Me and Robbie have now completed the internal plastering on the second bungalow, and we’re really happy with how it’s turned out.
🔨 800m²+ of internal plastering across both bungalows
🏠 High vaulted ceilings

It’s been a proper graft over the last couple of months, especially working through the rain, heat and everything else the British weather has thrown at us! 😂🌧️☀️
The vaulted ceilings have definitely added another level to the job, but they’re looking brilliant now they’re all plastered and finished.
Just me and Robbie putting the hours in and getting another big project over the line. 👊
Still plenty more to show from these two bungalows, including the external traditional sand & cement lime rendering, fully fibreglass meshed.

Another traditional sand and cement render completed ✔️

This one came with its challenges – difficult access, uneven ground, and a few long days on site – but we pushed through and the finished result speaks for itself.

The process started with a full application of render grip to ensure maximum adhesion, followed by a solid scratch coat completed in an afternoon.

The top coat was then carefully applied and finished over two days to achieve a clean, durable, traditional finish.
Materials used: • 5:1 sand and cement mix • Waterproofer additive • Lime for improved workability and durability
Quality preparation is key to a long-lasting render.

🏠 Plastering Progress Update – Pensilva

We are currently 2 days into an exciting renovation project on a 3-bedroom semi-detached bungalow in Pensilva for a lovely family, and we're making great progress.

So far, we have completed a large ceiling and numerous walls throughout the property, creating smooth, fresh finishes that are already transforming the home. It's great to see the project taking shape, and we're pleased with how much has been achieved in the first couple of days.

This is an ongoing project, with plenty more work to come. Once the internal plastering is complete, we will be moving on to the exterior, where we'll be applying a traditional sand and cement render to give the property a durable, high-quality finish that will stand the test of time.

We're looking forward to sharing further updates as the renovation progresses and the bungalow continues its transformation.

🏢 Block of Flats Exterior Redecoration – Progress Update 🎨

A productive day on site for SHJ Plastering & Property Services.
Preparation is key to achieving a long-lasting finish, so before any paint
was applied we carried out:

✔ Full wash down using soapy water
✔ Fungicidal treatment to remove and prevent organic growth
✔ Application of Sandtex Trade Stabilising Solution to seal and prepare the surface
✔ Careful inspection and preparation
before decorating

Today we've successfully completed the first coat to the gable end and rear elevation, with the transformation already taking shape.
The existing surface had signs of weathering and organic staining, but after the correct preparation and trade-quality materials, the building is already looking fresher, cleaner, and ready for its final coats.

Quality workmanship isn't just about the finished result – it's about doing every stage properly.
