A little look around the living room from one of our recently completed projects.

This is where so much of everyday life happens — from slow mornings with a coffee to cosy evenings with family.

We wanted the fireplace to remain the main focal point, so we designed bespoke joinery to keep the TV hidden when not in use.

Comfortable seating, soft textures and a calm, neutral palette bring everything together, creating a space that feels just as good to spend time in as it looks.

A week since Decorex and I’ve only just got around to sharing some of my favourites!

As always, so much to see and take in. From beautiful lighting and handcrafted finishes to interesting materials, colour combinations and all those smaller details that make a space feel special.

I particularly enjoyed discovering new suppliers, seeing products up close and catching up with a few brands I’ve already worked with.

I’ve put together a little edit of the things that caught my eye this year. Swipe through for some lovely finds and brands worth knowing about.

Which one is your favourite?

Lighting can completely change how a space feels.

One of the things I always pay particular attention to when designing an interior is lighting.

It’s not just about making sure a room is well lit, but creating different moods through layers of light.

In this recently completed bathroom, we used lighting to create a softer, more relaxing atmosphere, while also highlighting the different materials and textures throughout the space.

I particularly love how the light brings out the texture of the tiles, adding so much more depth to the design.

A TV that disappears when you don’t need it.

For this living room, we wanted the fireplace to remain the main focal point, without the TV competing for attention.

So we designed bespoke joinery that allows the TV to be completely hidden when not in use.

It’s a practical solution that gives the room a much calmer, more considered look, while still having everything you need for everyday living.

A glimse of the living room from our recently completed project.

We kept the overall palette light and calm, bringing interest through layers of different textures and materials.
The bespoke joinery became a key part of the room, adding practical storage while giving the space structure and character.

There are lots of details from this project I’m looking forward to sharing over the next few weeks — but for now, here’s the finished living room.

The way you lay your flooring can completely change how a room feels.

Straight plank, herringbone, chevron — even with the same timber, each layout creates a very different look and sense of movement within a space.

There isn’t one that works best for every project. I always consider the proportions of the room, the direction you enter and move through it, and how the flooring will work with the wider layout before deciding on a pattern.

A few of the options we explored with .

Which layout would you choose?

The final layer.

There are a few things I always think about when it comes to styling the shelves. I tend to group objects in threes (or other odd numbers), playing with different heights to create a loose triangle rather than keeping everything on the same level.

Then it’s about the mix — different materials, shapes and textures, balanced with enough empty space to let each piece breathe.

You don’t need lots of accessories. Just the right mix, placed with a little intention.

Same material. Completely different effect.

When choosing tiles, we often focus on colour and pattern — but the finish can have just as much impact on the finished space.

Matt, polished and textured surfaces all interact with light differently, changing how we perceive colour, depth and texture throughout the day.

In this recently completed bathroom, we used a combination of all three — each chosen intentionally for where and how it would be used.

It’s these subtle decisions that bring depth to a scheme, even when working with a restrained material palette.

Which finish are you naturally drawn to — matt, polished or textured?

Sharing a little behind the scenes of an Easter tradition I’ve carried with me since childhood…

This one really comes with years of practice ✍️

I love this ritual. 🤍 It’s fun, it lets me express my creativity in a completely different way… but it’s also so meditative — easily my favourite part of Easter.

Mum takes care of mixing the perfect dyes, while I get lost in the process of decorating.

In Lithuania, we decorate real eggs for Easter — but not everyone does it the same way.
Ours has always been with bee wax… passed down through generations.

Sharing a little glimpse into how it’s done.

Save this for next year — you might want to try it 😉
