The next stage of this London garden transformation 🌿

With the new horizontal timber fencing in place, our team has moved on to laying limestone slabs, creating the foundations for a clean, contemporary outdoor space.

The natural tones of the limestone complement the timber and surrounding greenery, bringing together the different elements of the garden.

A new project for Arrow Design and Construction.

We’ve recently begun work on the restoration of a historic listed building in Berkshire, in the Ascot, Windsor and Virginia Water area.

The project involves carefully repairing and restoring the building’s external fabric, from its historic timber frame and brick and render infill panels to the roof coverings, chimneys and render finishes. Internal works will also address areas affected by penetrating damp.

Restoring a listed building requires a considered approach, with each repair and material carefully selected to preserve its architectural character and historic significance while ensuring the building can be enjoyed for generations to come.

With scaffolding now in place, the restoration is underway. We’ll be sharing more of the project as work progresses.

Swipe to see the before ➡️

A kitchen with smart retro vibes, brought up to date with a beautifully considered finish.

Warm mustard and gold tones run throughout the space, from the statement stone effect worktop and matching splashback to the gold toned sink and taps, complemented by sleek, handleless dark wood cabinetry.

Pendent lighting and herringbone timber flooring add character, while the deep green walls leading through to the hallway create a rich contrast. Even the cloakroom door has been kept discreet, sitting flush with the wall for a seamless finish.

A characterful kitchen extension that balances timeless design with plenty of personality.

Autumnal scenes in London 🎃🍂 From beautifully dressed doorways to elegant seasonal details, Halloween brings a little extra character to some of London’s most distinctive neighbourhoods.

Across Kensington, Notting Hill and beyond, period properties provide the perfect backdrop for creative autumnal displays — while their original architectural features remain part of what makes these homes so special.

At Arrow Design and Construction, we work with homeowners to protect and enhance the character of period properties, combining careful craftsmanship with the practical expertise needed to keep them looking their best for years to come.

Our recently completed Richmond project on this beautiful Victorian home. This required a specialist approach after cracking reappeared in a previously repaired ceiling ✨

Following a structural survey, it was identified that the existing beam and supporting joists required replacement. The area was carefully opened up and temporarily supported, allowing the structural work to be carried out safely in accordance with the engineer’s recommendations and Building Control requirements.

With the new structural elements installed, the ceiling has now been reinstated and seamlessly repaired, preserving the character of this beautiful Victorian property while addressing the underlying structural issue.

Structural problems require more than a cosmetic fix. Understanding the cause and following the correct engineering solution is key to achieving a lasting repair 🛠️

It’s all in the prep ✨

Before the finishing touches could begin, there was plenty of work behind the scenes to prepare this kitchen extension for its transformation.

With the plans in place, the space was carefully prepared for the new kitchen, including floor preparation ahead of the herringbone timber flooring and coordinating the electrical work required before the finishes went in.

It’s the detail at this stage that helped create the beautifully finished space.
