Creative thinking in action! ✍️ We welcomed four GCSE and A-level students into our studio through The Creative Dimension, giving them an opportunity to explore architectural design, develop new skills and experience life in a working practice.
Our younger students were set a playful design challenge: to reimagine our office car park as a year-round pavilion, exploring their ideas through sketches and with opportunities to experiment with 3D printing.
Meanwhile, one returning student, who had just completed her A-levels, took on a different challenge, developing a furniture specification resource for the studio before presenting her work to the wider team.
From initial sketches to practical design research, it was great to see the different ideas and approaches take shape, and to share our studio with the next generation of creative thinkers.
A great collaboration between The Creative Dimension Trust and Emrys Architects. Thanks to everyone involved! ✏️
