Details from our Cotswolds design studio. We’re all about creating spaces that truly feel like home. This beautiful, large barn needed warmth, texture and layers to make it feel welcoming and inviting. By mixing our favourite fabrics and bringing colour into the space, we’ve created a studio full of character and life. A true reflection of our design house style: warm, inviting and effortlessly liveable. 🏡

Our Cotswolds design studio is the creative heart of SSD 🏡 a constant hive of activity, ideas and inspiration. Surrounded by the beauty of the English countryside, we feel so lucky to have such an inspiring setting to dream, design and create in every day. We can’t wait to share what we’ve been working on both in the UK and abroad… stay tuned! 🧑‍💻✍️

Monday inspo from the studio… a little glimpse into our main space, with our head of security keeping a watchful eye on the postman and deliveries, as always! 🐾🧑‍💻

We designed this little meeting space in our new studio to be the perfect spot to gather, chat and scheme… a cosy corner for more intimate meetings, with a combination of fabrics and colours that feels both inviting and inspiring. After a busy week in the studio, we’re looking forward to a well-deserved, restful weekend before the Christmas build-up really kicks into full swing. We have some very exciting installations coming up over the next few weeks, plenty of travel and lots to look forward to as we head into the final months of the year. Busy, exciting times ahead, and we wouldn’t have it any other way! 💕💕

Where the magic happens… we’re so thrilled to be moved in and up and running in our new HQ. It’s truly a hive of activity, and the space works so well for us, with its high ceilings and flood of natural light. There’s something incredibly inspiring about being surrounded by the beautiful English countryside, we couldn’t ask for a better source of inspiration. 🧑‍💻✍️📐

What a night! Celebrating our new HQ and the start of an exciting new chapter. A true labour of love, and we’re so excited to finally open our doors and share it with our friends and family. Thank you to everyone who travelled from near and far to celebrate with us. Here’s to the next chapter! 🥂🏠

We’re so honoured to have been selected for House & Home Top 100! This one feels especially close to my heart, being recognised by such an iconic Canadian publication and standing alongside so many incredibly talented peers is a true honour. Proud to be Canadian and that this childhood dream has become a reality. A proper pinch-me moment!

Some of our favourite laundry rooms from various projects…Often one of the most overlooked rooms in the house, the laundry room is full of opportunity to create a space that’s both functional and beautifully considered. We love going bold in these spaces, introducing colour, pattern and personality to take away the utilitarian, mundane feel of laundry day. Because practical doesn’t have to mean boring. Energising, inviting and a little unexpected is what we’re all about. 🧺🫧🧦
