A bespoke w**e wall in redwood, stained to dark oak and fitted behind glass.

It holds more than 390 bottles, combining high-capacity racking with a row of angled display for the labels worth showing. At its centre, shelving for standing bottles and accessories breaks up the rhythm of the racking. Along the side window, scallop racking turns part of the collection outward, while soft integrated lighting was set to complement the existing interior rather than compete with it.

A natural oak w**e cellar in the basement of a Grade II listed home, built for display, capacity and long-term storage.

Thousands of bottles sit across bespoke racking, from angled display racks to high-capacity cubes and traditional bins, so the room works as well visually as it does practically. Climate control was not possible within the basement, so a Transtherm UK Loft was built into the design to hold fine w**e at a steady temperature for long-term ageing. Soft LED lighting completes the change from storage basement to a room for hosting and enjoying a collection.

Introducing w**e storage within a restaurant not only improves the quality of preservation and maximises the capacity of bottles stored within the venue, but also improves the interiors. The temperature controlled w**e storage at Chez Rose adds to the classic bistro vision, with dark oak features, antique gold embellishment and the use of old repurposed Oak w**e barrels.

A look back on the w**e storage created for for both and . Multiple unique w**e storage areas, each one with a specific purpose - from the truly personalised DRC w**e cabinet 'hands' in the first image, through to the secret door in the last, from the grand cellars to the smaller w**e walls, every space suits a purpose.

Being able to design w**e storage for such a list not only holds the responsibility of creating a beautiful display, but also proper storage for the fine w**es.

Congratulations on two remarkable restaurants, Spencer.
