A considered transformation of this detached home within the Marlings Park Area of Special Residential Character.

The proposal includes a part first-floor front extension, loft conversion, roof alterations and a carefully proportioned increase in ridge height. A new central glazed gable strengthens the front elevation, while the rear hipped-roof dormer and twin glazed gables continue the architectural language of the ground-floor extension.

The design has been developed to add character and usable space while respecting the proportions, materials and established variety of homes within the estate.
