WonderGlass The Art of Bespoke Glass

17/06/2026

Designed by nendo for WonderGlass, Komori takes its name from the Japanese word for bat: a chandelier where delicate forms appear suspended in space, creating a sense of lightness and quiet dynamism. Crafted through the expertise of Murano glassmakers, each chandelier can be customised by adding different numbers of rings, allowing architects and designers to create configurations tailored to a specific space.

The breathtaking beauty of Home Farm by , where Sleeve takes centre stage of the dining table. A trio of Sleeve lamps suspended from the original beams casts a quiet, considered light over the long elm table below, a scene that distils everything Pawson does best: the harmony of natural materials, the poetry of proportion, and spaces that feel simultaneously serene and deeply alive.

A stunning installation of Aura by atelier_oï and WonderGlass is currently exhibited at Noor Riyadh Festival 2025. Presented in dialogue with the festival theme In the Blink of an Eye, the work reveals how handmade cast glass and slow moving light create moments that shift and vanish as quickly as they appear. This installation highlights the collaborative blend of craftsmanship and experimentation that defines Aura, inviting visitors to experience time, perception, and transformation through light.

Casting is not only a process but a meditation on time. Heat, pressure, and patience converge as the glass thickens, hardens, and remembers every stage of its becoming. What begins as fluid finds stillness, yet within that stillness, the movement endures.

At Made in WonderGlass group, our commitment to craftsmanship and experimentation shape the language of contemporary glass.

Nestled within a private estate in Surrey, the Music Pavilion offers a unique sensory experience, blending cutting-edge technology with refined interior architecture. Designed by SHH and realised by Ideaworks, the space explores how acoustic, lighting, and shading systems can shape the emotional and functional dynamics of a domestic environment.

At the centre of this atmosphere is Momento by Nao Tamura — a suspended hand-blown glass work evoking the stillness of a falling droplet caught in time. Its organic form reflects the quietude of the Pavilion, while its delicate translucency responds to the curated lighting conditions, shifting in tone throughout the day.

Momento becomes an instrument of perception within the room, a visual echo of the Pavilion’s soundscape, crafted to subtly enhance the meditative rhythm of the space. The work speaks to the fragility of presence and the interplay between time, technology, and material.

This series brings together cast glass and glazed ceramics — two materials shaped by heat and precision. Each piece captures and diffuses light through dense glass arches, subtly shifting as it interacts with the surface of the ceramic below. A study in contrasts, the work balances solidity and fragility, mass and detail.

Presented within the context of Officine Saffi Lab, a space where craftsmanship and experimentation take centre stage, the display highlights the ceramic dimension of the collaboration and deepens the exploration of material and process that defines the project.

POETICA is now open.

We’re back at Istituto dei Ciechi for the 63rd edition of Salone del Mobile, with a mesmerising installation that brings together new designs by Vincent Van Duysen and Ronan Bouroullec, and collaborations with Calico Wallpaper and Officine Saffi Lab.

This year’s project explores the relationship between materials as vessels for memory, imagination, and craft. From the architectural presence of Optô by to the suspended geometries of Vetrofuso Spazio by , each piece invites reflection on materiality, light, and perception.

We are looking forward to welcoming you.
