An unforgettable evening celebrating 20 years of Sola Kitchens. ✨

Last week, we welcomed clients, collaborators, architects, designers, and friends of the brand to the iconic Barbican Conservatory to celebrate two decades of Scandinavian craftsmanship, timeless design, and beautifully considered living.

It was a wonderful evening filled with inspiring conversations, meaningful connections and a chance to reflect on the journey that has brought us here. Above all, it was an opportunity to thank the incredible people who have been part of the Sola story over the past 20 years.

Milestone 04: Expanding beyond the kitchen

Twenty years ago, Sola Kitchens began with a simple focus: beautifully crafted Scandinavian kitchens. Since then, our scope has grown considerably, while the values behind the work haven't moved an inch.
What's changed is the breadth of what we are trusted to deliver. Working closely with architects, interior designers and main contractors, we have moved well beyond the kitchen to help bring their vision to life across an entire home, not just one room within it.

That collaborative approach has taken us into some genuinely varied spaces. Hospitality projects like Souli Café. The kitchen within Cornflake's showroom. Bespoke schemes at Pratt Mews. Kitchens for apartments within one of London's luxury residential towers. Multi-plot Family homes across Wimbledon. Contemporary penthouses and refined private residences both on land and sea. Bespoke interior joinery schemes that go far beyond cabinetry.

Further afield, we have designed 11 rooms for a private home in Colorado, and delivered projects across Europe, Bermuda, and further still—different markets, different briefs, the same Scandinavian approach to materiality, craftsmanship and restraint.

Whether it's a single kitchen, a boutique commercial space, a multi-plot development or a whole-house collaboration with a design team, every project gets the same level of attention, the same handcrafted quality, and the same care we've brought to our work since 2006.

Twenty years on, we're proud to have helped shape not just kitchens, but homes, developments, and spaces where people gather, work, celebrate, and live.
