In recent years, the flooring industry has seen a shift toward borderless parquet installations. ๐Ÿ“ˆ It seems like a direct reflection of how modern homes are being built and styled. Here are a few key reasons why:

โœ… ๐Œ๐จ๐๐ž๐ซ๐ง ๐€๐ž๐ฌ๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ญ๐ข๐œ: Running the pattern straight to the wall removes visual clutter. Classic bordered parquet is often associated with traditional, formal European heritage homes. The current design movement favors minimalism and clean lines.
โœ… ๐’๐ฉ๐š๐œ๐ž ๐๐ž๐ซ๐œ๐ž๐ฉ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง: A border acts as a visual boundary, effectively drawing a box slightly smaller than the room itself. Running the pattern directly to the edges draws the eye outward, making the room feel larger.

Thereโ€™s something incredibly rewarding about breathing new life into a piece of history. ๐Ÿชต

A massive thank you to Anthony for leaving us this brilliant Trustpilot review. Restoring a ๐Ÿฒ๐Ÿฌ-๐˜†๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ-๐—ผ๐—น๐—ฑ hardwood floor demands a high level of craftsmanship, patience, and a deep understanding of timber species. Itโ€™s exactly that attention to detail that makes all the difference.

The rich, glowing wood you can see in the background of this image? Thatโ€™s Anthony's actual floor once we'd finished with it! Now looks brand new while keeping its original charm.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Get in touch, and letโ€™s make great floors together!
