Children rarely climb something because they’ve decided it’s time to work on their coordination. 😄

They climb because it looks fun.

But while they’re figuring out where to put their feet, reaching for the next hold and moving their body from one point to another, they’re practising all sorts of useful movement skills.

It’s one of the things Warren loves about active play after years of teaching PE:
