Creating outstanding products in over 200 shades and offering its bespoke colour-matching service, Mylands has, over six generations, crafted its wares with quality, versatility and depth at their heart. Long-lasting and tactile, Mylands’ products transform spaces, enhancing every mood and style. Mylands have worked tirelessly to create paint with superior performance which doesn’t cost (or damage) the earth. Mylands paints are water based with a low VOC content, making them virtually solvent free and therefore kind to you, your family and the environment both during and after application. Mylands’ paints have been awarded the A+ rating for French Interior VOC testing, the best rating possible. Formulated to achieve easy application, Mylands paints and are almost odourless with quick drying times and are easy to wipe clean. Mylands are one of the last remaining manufacturers to still use natural earth pigments in our paint which makes them sumptuously deep and colour rich as well as eco-friendly. Mylands is pleased to be part of ‘Design for Diversity’, a nationwide campaign to promote inclusivity and diversity, and to improve representation, within the interiors industry.

Sella, created by the design duo behind Sella Concept (Tatjana von Stein & Gayle Noonan) is a totally new neutral shade, imbued with a sense of warmth that is in tune with their individual tastes.

The beauty of the colour lies in its subtle tonality; the spectrum of different tones come to the fore and recede depending on its surroundings and light, making it very versatile and a great neutral when paired with other colours.

A beautiful example of how colour can celebrate a home’s original character.

We’re admiring this recently completed project by Ailsa Macconnell featuring John’s Pantry BH.24 from the Mylands x Beata Heuman The Dependables collection.

Originally developed for John’s office at 188 Hammersmith Road, this handsome ochre yellow brings warmth and character to traditional woodwork, panelling and architectural details, sitting beautifully alongside rich olive greens and soft neutrals.

A softer side of pink. Gentleman’s Pink™ No.221 brings warmth and understated elegance to the Morning Room at A PLACE IN THE COUNTRY.

Inspired by the classic English gentleman’s shirt, this delicate pastel pink has subtle hints of red and violet, creating a beautiful backdrop for the room’s ornate architectural details and rich wooden floors.
