Our latest project pairs dark, contemporary cabinetry with a light marble-inspired worktop for a striking yet balanced design.

🚪 Pronorm X-Line cabinetry in Dark Steel Lacquer
◻️ 20mm Calacatta Gold quartz worktop
🥘 NEFF appliances
🚰 Franke Kubus composite sink in Polar White and Quooker Flex in Stainless Steel

The spacious island houses the venting induction hob and w**e cooler, creating a generous preparation and cooking area while keeping the kitchen connected to the surrounding space.

With extraction integrated directly into the hob, the island remains open and uncluttered, reinforcing the clean lines of the design.

A coffee first thing in the morning, breakfast before the school run, or a quiet five minutes before the day gets going - sometimes it’s the simplest routines that deserve a little thought in the design.

A dedicated breakfast and coffee nook keeps everything you need together, from the coffee machine and favourite mugs to pods and breakfast essentials. And when you’re finished? Close the doors, and it all disappears neatly back into the cabinetry.

It’s practical, beautifully organised, and one of those little additions that can make your kitchen feel even more enjoyable to live with.

We love a kitchen island, but we’ll also be the first to say that not every kitchen needs one.

The right island should earn its place in the room. For some clients, that means extra prep space and storage. For others, it’s somewhere to cook while chatting to family, grab breakfast in the morning or gather with friends over a glass of w**e.

Size matters too. An island that’s too large can interrupt the flow of the kitchen, while one that’s carefully proportioned can completely change how the room works.

That’s why we always start with the space and how you want to use it, rather than simply adding an island because it’s on the wish list.

📞 Wondering whether an island would work in your kitchen? Book a design consultation, and let’s explore the possibilities.

For many homeowners, a kitchen island sits somewhere near the top of the wish list.

A well-designed island can completely change how you use your kitchen. It can give you more preparation space, additional storage, somewhere to sit and, depending on your layout, a place for your sink, hob or appliances.

But there is one important point we often make when designing a kitchen: you do not necessarily need a huge room to achieve the island-style layout you have in mind.

In our latest blog, we share three ways to approach it.

Meet one of our designers, Tilly. 👋

With over a decade of kitchen design experience, Tilly loves the variety that comes with each new project - from sketching those first layout ideas and bringing them to life in CAD to solving the little design challenges that make every home different.

Her creativity and experience have seen her shortlisted for Young Designer of the Year, as well as designing kitchens for some very well-known names. But whoever she’s designing for, the goal remains the same: creating a kitchen that makes a real difference to the way they live.

And her kitchen must-have? A combi oven, although she admits a Bora hob comes pretty close! 😄

Kitchens are no longer just somewhere to cook meals. They have evolved into the hub of the home, a space that can multitask and provide the perfect spot for everything from dining and entertaining to socialising, relaxing and working.

In our latest blog, we look at how this evolution has shaped kitchen design and what it means for you.

Some kitchen styles come and go. Shaker kitchens have never really left.

What makes them so enduring is their balance. The framed cabinetry adds just enough detail to create character while keeping the space feeling calm and uncluttered.

They work just as beautifully in a period home as they do in a contemporary extension, adapting effortlessly to different colours, materials and finishes.

It's a style that gives you plenty of freedom to make the kitchen your own, without feeling tied to a passing trend.

A kitchen does not have to play it safe to feel sophisticated.

This striking London kitchen is proof that neutral cabinetry can sit happily alongside bold colour, warm metallic finishes and plenty of personality. The result feels considered rather than chaotic, with a calm foundation that gives the more playful design choices room to shine.

If you love the idea of introducing colour into your kitchen but worry about going too far, this project is a brilliant example of how to get the balance right.

In our latest blog, we share how you can recreate its confident use of colour, texture and metallic details in your own kitchen.
