At Smallbone, we specialise in bespoke hand-painted finishes as we believe in the art of personalisation. Working closely with each client, our in-house artist will guide you through your chosen paint colour, discussing the perfect combination of one or two base coats and a final finishing top coat to achieve a beautifully individual result.

And when we say personal, we really mean it…we’ve even had clients request a paint colour matched to their favourite Hermès Birkin handbag. Because when it comes to a Smallbone kitchen, inspiration can come from anywhere.

We finally arrive at the heart of the home, the central core of family life within this stunning Victorian Country Estate.
The original Smallbone hand-painted kitchen sits beautifully within its heritage surroundings, perfectly complementing the character and architecture of this remarkable home.
Our Senior Designer, Leila, takes us through how our timeless classic design was thoughtfully reimagined to work with the home’s distinctive Gothic arched curvature, complemented by beautifully sourced Italian marble.
And, of course, no family kitchen would be complete without the ultimate handcrafted breakfast cupboard and butlers pantry designed for everyday family life, with everything beautifully organised and within easy reach.
A perfect marriage of heritage, craftsmanship and considered contemporary living.

Next, we step into the beautifully considered his and hers dressing rooms and bathrooms, within this exceptional Victorian house set amongst beautifully landscaped grounds.
Every space has been thoughtfully designed to remain in keeping with our client’s home showcasing original Gothic design and architecture, whilst introducing luxurious contemporary elements.

From timeless Linen Oak through to more contemporary Walnut, featuring our Modernist Collection, each room has been carefully curated nothing is complete without award-winning statement marble Calacatta Viola.

A beautiful balance of heritage, craftsmanship and contemporary luxury, designed to feel completely at home within this remarkable property. 🤍

Welcome to this stunning Grade II Listed Victorian large country house estate, nestled within the beautiful Surrey Hills.

For the first instalment of our house tour, our Senior Designer Leila takes us into the Bespoke Butler’s Pantry & Laundry Room, created from our Iconic Collection and tailored beautifully for our client.
