Last night, I had the pleasure of celebrating a monumental milestone with —125 years of design excellence—all while cruising down the River Thames. It felt incredibly special when one of the directors addressed the room, reminding us that the designers, architects, and visionaries gathered together are the “creators of spaces in an international world,” and that we are true partners in their journey. That partnership makes complete sense when you look at where Hansgrohe started. Founded in 1901 by Hans Grohe in a small German town in the Black Forest, the company began as a metal pressing workshop. At a time when private bathrooms were an absolute luxury, Hans saw the future. He became a pioneer of the modern home bathroom, eventually inventing the very first hand shower in 1928 and the wall-mounted shower bar in 1953.Fast forward 125 years, and that same spirit of German engineering, innovation, and sleek, functional aesthetics is why they lead the global industry today. As an interior designer, there are certain elements of a project where you simply cannot cut corners. For me, Hansgrohe taps are something I never compromise on. A bathroom isn’t just a functional room; it’s a sanctuary, and the precision and beauty of their fixtures elevate a space instantly.Thank you, , for an unforgettable evening on the water and for over a century of beautiful engineering. Here’s to creating many more spaces together. 🥂💦

Eyes on the facades 👀.
Barcelona has a way of shifting your perspective on space.I’ve been exploring the city’s signature organic architecture this week—captivated by the flowy lines, the play of warm light, and the dramatic shadows that transform spaces throughout the day. But for me, this city is also about legacy. An extended family member was once unexpectedly stranded here, ended up making a beautiful life, and left their mark before passing on. Walking these streets makes me realize that homes aren’t just about furniture; they are about building a life, even when plans change. Bringing a piece of this warm, resilient, and flowing Spanish inspiration back to the studio. 🌿.
