CTO LIGHTING designs, manufactures and supplies a contemporary range of luxury lighting. We are a design led company producing a stock range which is updated each year and also have a custom department who work directly with the architects and designers on bespoke projects. We are continually specified by leading designers including Phillippe Stark, Barbara Barry and David Collins for a variety of projects form one-off sculptural pieces to retail roll-outs both in the UK and abroad. We work to an exceptionally high standard as reflected in our client list; The Savoy, The Dorchester, Candy and Candy, Harrods, Wedgewood and British Airways.

A Mediterranean approach to living.

At Projet Belle Rive in Nice, Maison Maju has created an interior where soft lines, natural materials and a considered palette carry through from one space to the next, giving each room its own character while maintaining a sense of continuity.

In the living area, ARTES Wall Lights sit in line with the architectural panelling, becoming part of the room's rhythm. Beyond, AVALON Oval is suspended above the dining table, its continuous ring of alabaster diffusing light into a warm, even glow that complements the natural tones of the interior.

A perfect example of layers of soft alabaster light, thoughtfully integrated into a home shaped by its Mediterranean surroundings.

RELIC, up close.

Clean lines, chamfered angles, and an asymmetric shade that catches the light beautifully - RELIC's form is deliberate down to the last detail. Antique bronze or polished nickel metalwork pairs with alabaster or kiln-formed glass for a palette of noble materials, while a crystallised diffuser at the base creates a soft, enchanting radiance that's entirely its own.

Inspired by the idea of a precious fragment from the past, the contrast of solid, angular brass against the softness of the fragmented shade makes RELIC a striking feature wherever it's placed - perfect for hallways, reception rooms, and any wall in need of a little understated character.

A space made for gathering.

A short distance from Neuchâtel, sits within the Swiss countryside - a place built around slowing down, between rural landscape and watchmaking towns.

Above the communal table in Le Grand Salon, three CLOUDESLEY Chandeliers are suspended in sequence, their tiered opal glass shades bringing rhythm and a soft, diffused light to the length of the room. The repetition of oval glass and precisely machined brass gives each chandelier its structure, while together they create an intimate atmosphere around the table, fitting for a place where conversation is unhurried and time is allowed to linger.

Alabaster, brought to light.

Translucent by nature, alabaster softens and scatters the source, blurring harsh edges to create a warm, enveloping glow. It illuminates without flooding a room, leaving space for shadow, depth and contrast. After all, the most atmospheric rooms leave something unseen.

This philosophy sits at the heart of YUKIMI. Within the Element 7 showroom, its alabaster shades bring warmth to the rich tones of the interior while allowing the edges of the room to recede into shadow.

A room shaped as much by what is left in shadow as by what is illuminated.
