Meet Lucy! 🖤🍸🩷

She’s got Old Charm, but she’s certainly no old lady!
This gorgeous vintage Wood Bros cabinet has had the full Trashed treatment!

Beautiful dark oak wood, original leaded glass, fabulous luxury wallpaper by Divine Savages featuring cats drinking martinis (yes, really!) and a gloriously HOT PINK interior! 🩷

Complete with lighting, a mirrored back and plenty of room for your favourite tipples!

I absolutely LOVE how she’s turned out. A little bit traditional, a little bit quirky and a whole lot of personality!

Lucy is AVAILABLE TO BUY!

It feels SO good to be back in my little studio, making pretty things again, (it’s only been 6 days away, but it feels ALOT longer lol)!! 🩷

I’ve missed getting lost in the creative process, making a mess and watching an idea come to life.

Just adding the finishing touches to this beautiful vintage mirror. A little bit of pink, a little bit of sparkle and a whole lot of Trashed by Jordana! ✨

Life has thrown some absolute s**t at me lately, and I’m not going to pretend it’s been easy ❤️

Mum’s stroke, becoming her full-time carer, the nightmare of the eviction and now cancer. Some days I honestly wonder how much more one person can take.

However through all the tears, stress, worry and absolute chaos, there’s been one thing keeping me going…Trashed by Jordana.

It’s not just my business, it’s my sanctuary, my therapy, my escape and sometimes the only thing that makes me feel like ME again.

Give me a paintbrush, a battered old piece of furniture and a bit of creative freedom and, for a few hours, I can forget about everything else going on in my world.

And my customers…well, you lot have absolutely no idea what you mean to me 🥹

It’s never just been about the money. Every order, every commission, every lovely message and every bit of encouragement gives me something that money can’t buy.

You give me courage, you give me confidence, you give me a reason to keep going when sometimes I feel like giving up.

You probably think you’re just getting a piece of furniture painted, but you’re actually helping me hold myself together.

I might be the one giving old furniture a new lease of life, but without even realising it, you’re all doing a little bit of the same for me.

So thank you. For trusting me, supporting my creativity and letting me carry on doing something I bloody love.

This little business means the absolute world to me, so do you lot.

Lots of love,

Well, you lot have spoken! 🤎

On my recent post, option ‘A’ was the winner, so Walnut it is!

I’ve used Rustins Walnut Wood Dye on this gorgeous antique bentwood chair, and I have to say, I think you made the right choice!

It’s given the wood such a lovely rich, warm tone without hiding all that gorgeous grain.

Now ready for the top coat, and I can’t wait to see how it brings everything together.

So, are we happy with our decision? 👀

Pink, marbled, genuine SILVER LEAF! How gorgeous is this?!  🩷

This little project has brought two exciting firsts; making my own resin moulds and working with marbled leaf for the first time.

I’ve created handmade resin flowers to embellish a vintage mirror, then finished them with genuine silver leaf coloured pink and beautifully marbled.

It’s delicate, fiddly and completely addictive, however I’m absolutely loving the results so far.

Sometimes vintage furniture needs more than a makeover, it needs a little jewellery ✨

I’m working on this beautiful old Thonet bentwood chair, and just LOOK AT HER!!! 🩷🩷🩷

You voted for a light wood finish, and I was fully intending to listen...👀

A thorough clean, a lot of sanding and a little bit of elbow grease later...she’s revealing herself & she’s pretty 😍

Here she is, fully nekked! 🙈 And now I’ve got a dilemma...

Years of use. Dozens on bums on the seat. She has a story to tell…

LOOK at that glorious patina! 😍 All those years of use have left their mark, and I absolutely love it.

The little toolmarks, the variations in colour, the beautiful grain. It’s all part of her story, and I don’t want to erase it 🥹

Over 100 years old, and she’s wearing her age beautifully! A light stain would even everything out, but I’m not sure I want to...sorry not sorry!

So, I’m handing this one back to you! And this time, I promise I’ll listen 🤣

𝐀 𝐨𝐫 𝐁? 𝐖𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐡 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐞?

And don’t worry, whichever wins, that beautiful old patina is staying! 🩷
