Now our customer has finished decorating their room, this stunning open fire really has become the centrepiece! 😍

The traditional cast iron fireplace, paired with that beautiful black and white chequered hearth, looks absolutely incredible.

Sometimes you just can’t beat the charm and character of a traditional open fire! 🔥🏡

🔥 What’s hiding behind your log burner? 🔥

At first glance, this looks like a perfectly normal fireplace chamber, ready for a new stove installation…

But on closer inspection, we discovered the previous owners had lined the chamber with plasterboard! 😳

🚫 A BIG NO-NO!

Standard plasterboard is NOT suitable for lining a fireplace chamber exposed to high temperatures.

But don’t worry… we’ve got you covered! 💪

We stripped out the unsuitable materials and replaced them with A1-rated non-combustible cement board, suitable for use inside a stove chamber when installed to the correct specifications.

✅ Old plasterboard removed
✅ Chamber made safe and suitable
✅ A1-rated cement board installed
✅ Ready for the new log burner!
