✨ A stunning setting for a special day ✨

We recently had the pleasure of installing two coupled B200 XL pergolas within the existing courtyard at The Normans wedding venue in York.

The pergolas provide a beautiful covered area for the venue, giving couples and their guests another way to enjoy the courtyard while adding a practical and stylish extension to the outdoor space.

We particularly love seeing the finished installation being used during a real wedding. These fantastic wedding photographs, captured by Robert Carter Photography - Yorkshire Wedding Photographer, show the pergolas perfectly integrated into the celebrations. 📸💍

🌿 Retractable screens aren't the only thing you can retrofit! ✨

If you already have an outdoor structure that you love, you don't necessarily need to replace it to make it more comfortable and versatile.

This project in Leicestershire is a great example. We installed retrofitted sliding glass to an existing oak frame building, transforming the space while retaining the character and craftsmanship of the original structure.

The addition of sliding glass creates a more sheltered, usable space while still allowing the owners to enjoy plenty of natural light and views of the garden. When the weather is good, the panels can be opened to reconnect the space with the outdoors, while closing them provides protection when conditions are less favourable. 🌦️🏡

It's a fantastic way to give an existing structure a new lease of life without starting again from scratch.

This recent project in Spalding, Lincolnshire is a great example of how you can upgrade an outdoor space without replacing the structure you already have.

For this garden pavilion, we installed retrofitted retractable screens, adding a new level of comfort and flexibility while retaining the character of the existing structure.

The screens can be lowered when extra protection is needed from wind, rain and the sun, helping to create a more comfortable environment for relaxing and entertaining. They can also help keep unwanted insects out during the warmer months, making the pavilion even more enjoyable to use. ☀️🦟

When the weather is right, the screens can simply be retracted, opening the pavilion back up to the surrounding garden.

It's a practical way to extend the usability of an existing outdoor structure - without the need to start from scratch.
