🏢🖤 COMMUNAL FLOORING TRANSFORMATION – ATTENTION TO EVERY DETAIL! 🖤🏢

Another project completed by Ormesby Carpets & Flooring, transforming the communal areas of a block of flats with professionally fitted dark charcoal carpet.

This was about more than simply laying carpet. It was about taking the time to get the finishing touches right, ensuring the stairs, landings and hallways looked smart, consistent and professionally finished throughout. 👌

🪜 Staircase Carpet Fitting – carefully fitted across each step, with attention to alignment, secure fitting and a neat, consistent appearance.

📐 Precision Finishing – taking care around edges, corners, skirting boards and awkward areas to achieve a clean finish with no unnecessary visible imperfections.

🏢 Communal Landings & Hallways – creating a uniform look throughout the shared areas, with careful attention to joins, edges and transitions between sections.

🔍 Attention to Detail – checking the finished work throughout to ensure the carpet sits neatly, the lines are consistent and the overall result meets our standards.

⏱️ Time, Patience & Workmanship – achieving a finish like this takes more than speed. It requires careful preparation, accurate measuring, skilled fitting and time spent getting the details right. We put the effort in because we believe the finishing touches make all the difference.

The aim was to give residents and visitors a clean, modern and welcoming communal environment that the property can be proud of.

At Ormesby Carpets & Flooring, we take pride in our work and believe every project deserves the same attention to detail, whether it's one room or an entire communal flooring installation.

✅ Screed poured, levelled, and now drying to perfection!
This project has now reached another key milestone, with the screed fully installed and left to cure correctly before the final floor finish is laid.
Proper screeding is essential for creating a smooth, level, and durable subfloor. Taking the time to allow it to dry naturally helps prevent future issues and ensures the best possible finish for whatever flooring is installed next.

🏗️ Preparation is Everything! 🏗️
A quality screed floor starts long before the screed is poured. Here we've completed the crucial preparation stage, ensuring the perfect foundation for a strong, level, and long-lasting finish.
✅ Floor fully prepared and ready for screeding
✅ Primed to improve adhesion and bonding
✅ Helps reduce air bubbles and uneven curing
✅ Creates a stronger, more durable screed finish
✅ Professional preparation for the best possible results
Priming is one of the most important steps in the process. It helps the screed bond correctly to the substrate, improves performance, and reduces the risk of future issues such as cracking, debonding, or weak spots.
When it comes to flooring, the finished result is only as good as what's underneath it.
