End of week 1 progress. The kitchen units are installed, levelled, along with a couple of the integrated appliances. Its now ready for templating next week. The island is also pre-assembled (for the same reason) but will be moved about while i get the flooring laid.
Speaking of which, the floor has been all ply lined, all the way from the downstairs WC, into the kitchen & the cupboard and all along the hallway to the entrance door. Were going herringbone seamlessly throughout!

A facelift in this kitchen, 3 little changes makes a big difference. The homeowners wanted a new extractor, hob and splashback, so in went a Lamona angled black glass extractor, Neff 5 burner hob and custom stainless splashback all the way upto the ceiling.

3 tier wooden loft ladder and hatch installed for a couple over in hazelrigg wanting easier access for storage. The original hatch door did break off so it was a good time to do it. As the new hatch is larger, i also removed the light fitting and in its place, 2 well positioned led downlights now flood the landing area. The loft itself is now accessible to board up in the future for even more storage.

Its only been 12 weeks (or 3 months!) since Holystone Civil Engineering Ltd started on the roundabout, tell me North Tyneside Council how long have you given them to complete this task? At the rate theyre going, be lucky to have it done by the School Summer Holidays the following year!

That's the full bathroom completed over in North Shields on a rental for my good friend Adam. The floor below the toilet had degraded, so had to be lifted and repaired. The whole bathroom was then stripped out. In its place is a full sized 1700mm x 700mm, 1000mm glass screen 300mm flipper, dual rainfall shower, comfort height close couple toilet, 2 drawer anthracite sink unit and mixer tap, tiled wet area in Helena Grey, cladded the rest of the room in grey tile effect, gloss white ceiling, LED ceiling light, oval column radiator in anthracite, grey oak LVT composite flooring and finally some stuck on accessories to preserve the cladding.
