Not that I am complaining but this weather is mad ! Things are continuing to flower even mid October ! A proper mix of photos this week, logs and kindling for the colder weather, small pot grown blue spruce Xmas trees, perennials flowering well, nice new metal bits for the garden, and our hanging baskets still looking good, taking orders for next year. As the clocks are changing soon, our hours will also be changing to 9 to 5.

A quieter week this week, a bit of a rest before next weeks lorry load of shrubs 😂.. we have had more bulbs delivered, and now the ground is moist it’s a perfect time for planting.. the autumn flowering azaleas are just starting to flower as are the anenomes.. and we are selling a lot of grass seed, September is the perfect time for sowing it. We get quite a lot of visitors to the office area, many many many sparrows, a regular vole and shrew, and we actually managed to film a mole. As always open 9 to 5.30

We have had a busy week this week, preparing for our first lorry load of plants, Thursday the day was spent unloading, displaying and taking away the back up stock from the car park. Lots of lovely new things, 9 different hydrangeas, camellias, azaleas, stunning lavender, grasses, way too much to mention and another lorry load due in 2 weeks. It has been nice to see some rain, especially for the plants, they much prefer the rain to a hose pipe. Don’t forget sunnyside breakfast meet on Sunday morning, 8 till 10, should be lots of nice cars, a good social gathering and all for charity. As always open 9 to 5.30 daily.

Definately a better week weather wise, cooler and a little rain.
We have been busy this week getting ready for the first of our shrub deliveries next week, the first lorry coming Thursday, that will be a busy one! Lots of empty space at the moment, but not for long. I have also brought down for sale autumn flowering nerines, azaleas and anenome.. how the seasons change ! As always open 9 to 5.30

A busy week all in all, lots of new stock this week, the first of the bulbs have arrived… the glove stand has been restocked..some lovely baskets and metalwork have come in….work continuing in the field to keep our water running properly, and just for a change more watering 😂.. a lot of our plants are getting watered twice a day at the moment..the day of the smoke and the smell was awful, I feel so sorry for the people that live close to the fires and have had that for weeks now.. we really could do with some rain. As usual, open 9 to 5.30 daily

Good morning from all here at Halse Nurseries. A busy week, one way or another, also a challenging week 😂… plenty of watering.. again!!… my brothers have started with a digger in our field, to make sure our natural spring continues to flow to keep our plants watered, we are using a lot of water ! The plants are still looking colourful and healthy ready for your gardens.. we have also had road works along the A48 this week, not ideal for business, but at least the roads are getting the attention they need finally. A few new bits this week, along the fairy theme. And for those petrol heads among you there will be the return of Sunnyside breakfast meet at the end of the month.. Craig is fundraising, this will be the first of 3 meets here at the nursery. As always open 9 to 5.30
