Satu at Christmas 🎄 ✨

25/10/2026

Wow! What an amazing first week since the launch of our Winter Interiors Collection & Satu Sparkle! 🎄✨

A big thank you to everyone who has popped in and supported us.
It really does mean so much, and we’re so grateful for all the love. 💖

The week leading up to the launch is always one of sheer graft, with long days and nights.
I think many of you will have passed the building and spotted our lights still on into the early hours some nights! 😂✨

As always, each of the showrooms have been completely restyled, and this year we’ve also redesigned the room schemes in two of our upstairs showrooms, as well as extending our Weird Pansy workshop room!

It takes a huge amount of work behind the scenes to bring everything together, and we’ve had so much help from our amazing extended Satu family who step in to help, along with our wonderful team of upholsterers, curtain makers, decorators, joiners, electricians and friends to get everything ready in time.

The way everyone has pulled together to make it happen is just incredible.
It’s something I never take for granted, and seeing everyone’s reaction to the finished showrooms makes all those long days and late nights so worthwhile.

Feeling very proud and incredibly grateful for our special team.
We really couldn’t do it without you. 🤍✨

Sometimes, growth begins just outside your comfort zone. 🤍

I’ve always been more than a little nervous in front of the lens, but we’re often asked to share more about the people behind Satu, our business, and the journey we take our clients on.

So, here goes… a little more of me, our story, and what makes Satu so special ✨

When addressing the elephant in the room… 🐘

We wanted to go all out with this cosy twin guest room - leaning into the rustic character of the vaulted ceiling and immersing the room in pattern.

Continuing the same beautiful toile design across the walls, ceiling and blinds, with the soft furnishings carefully pattern-matched to the wallpaper, creates a wonderfully cosy, cohesive feel ~ Something that might go unnoticed, but is all part of the detail. 🪡

A love of safari and elephants inspired the scheme, whilst antique and quirky heirloom pieces add warmth, history and sentiment. 💙🤍

Because sometimes more is more… and this room was made for embracing it. 🐘✨

25 years ago, I had a dream… 💭 ✨

It all started on a lovely cobbled street in Penrith, on Angel Lane Satu Interiors Limited was born. Before long, the dream outgrew those four walls, and we moved into our existing premises on the outskirts of town.

Fast forward 25 years, and we now have 5 showrooms, an extensive design studio, and a wonderful team of 6, alongside the amazing extra team members who step in whenever needed, especially for our events.🫶🏻

I am so incredibly grateful for every single person who has chosen us, purchased from us, for their repeat custom - trusting us to design their homes, rooms, hotels and business premises.
Your support has made this journey possible, and I never take it for granted. 🙏🏻

On Sunday we celebrated a special milestone at Langdale Chase Hotel and raised a glass to 25 years in business. 🍾🥂✨

Twenty-five years has given me a wealth of experience, knowledge and, most importantly, a grounded perspective on what it truly means to be an interior designer.

There is so much conversation about technology and AI replacing the design industry, but I firmly believe there is something deeply personal about the creative process.
The ideas, details, intuition and imagination that whirl around in my head when I’m developing a scheme come from years of experience, understanding people, and knowing how a space should feel as well as how it should look.

Technology is an incredible tool, but it can’t replace the personal connection, creativity and attention to detail that sits at the heart of what we do.

So, here’s to 25 years of dreaming, designing, creating and growing — and to everyone who has been part of the journey. ❤️

I’m incredibly proud of how far we’ve come, and excited for whatever the next chapter brings.

Thank you all so much.. here’s to the next 20 years xx

I’ve been away this week on a whistle stop tour of the wonderful city of Marrakech 🇲🇦🕌✨🌴🐪🏜️🌅

Here is a little glimpse of a day that will forever hold the most amazing memories ✨
Sunrise onboard a hot air balloon, one of 60 balloon’s that gracefully took to the skies - an incredible experience..
Followed by a camel back trek which was perhaps a little less graceful 🙈😂🐪

Amazing times with special friends in such a captivating place, where vibrant colours, intricate patterns, rich artisanal interiors, culture and people blend together in perfect harmony. 🇲🇦
Feeling inspired & recharged ✨
