Pretty in pink for Wear It Pink Day 🩷
It's Wear It Pink Day and our teams at Bishopton and Lanark have certainly embraced the occasion, with plenty of laughter, fabulous outfits and some rather questionable new hairstyles, all in support of Breast Cancer Now.
Bishopton Depot
Our Service Administrator, Linda Reid, certainly got into the spirit, looking fabulous in her pink wig and accessories! Not wanting to miss out on the fun, Stewart Alexander, Ross McNeill, Harrison Crichton and Jim Steel all took their turns rocking the pink wig, with Mila Crichton joining in too.
Forever on-brand, Jim made sure his pink shirt was perfectly finished off with his Massey Ferguson cufflinks - now that's attention to detail!
Lanark Depot
Meanwhile, the Lanark team weren't going to be outdone! Karen Maxwell looked fabulous in her pink tutu, while Keith Clark rocked a pink wig and our resident dummy model even got dressed up for the occasion! From pink bobble hats and tutus to wigs and accessories, it was lovely to see so many of the team making the effort and getting behind such a worthwhile cause. 🩷
Pink Tractors For A Great Cause
Today's fun also follows the fantastic success of our 10 Pink Tractors in 10 Days charity auction, which raised an incredible £7614 in donations and pledges for Breast Cancer Now, thanks to the generosity of our supporters and the matching contribution from our company Chairman and Managing Director, Eric and Jamie Gardiner.
A huge thank you to everyone across our depots who dressed up, donated and joined in the fun. Behind all the pink and laughter is a cause that really matters, helping Breast Cancer Now continue its vital research and support for those affected by breast cancer.
We'll be presenting our Pink Tractor Auction and Wear It Pink fundraising donations to Breast Cancer Now in the coming weeks, so stay tuned for our final total!
