🔥 Another Weekend, Another Transformation at Wellington College! 🔥

While most people were enjoying their weekend, we were busy transforming a commercial shower room and dormitory at Wellington College! 💪

This project involved a complete flooring refurbishment, including:

✅ Uplift and disposal of existing cushion flooring

✅ Full preparation, priming and latex smoothing compound

✅ Supply and installation of Polysafe Quattro safety vinyl

✅ Fully capped and coved up the walls for a hygienic, seamless finish

The new safety flooring is designed to provide excellent slip resistance for both bare feet and trainers, making it ideal for busy shower rooms and dormitory environments.

All completed over the weekend to minimise disruption to other trades as this needs to be back in operation this week.

Another quality commercial flooring installation at Wellington College, and another job we’re proud to put our name to.

Commercial flooring isn’t just about looking good — it’s about safety, durability and getting the job done properly!

🔥 From tired floors to a fresh new look! 🔥

Another flooring transformation completed, and what a difference! 👌

We started with a full uplift of the existing flooring, followed by priming and applying a smoothing compound to create the perfect base for the new installation.

We then installed this stunning Teco Grey Tile Effect flooring throughout the hallway, downstairs toilet and kitchen, creating a fresh, modern look that flows beautifully from room to room.

The grey tile effect gives a stylish, practical finish without the cold feel of traditional tiles!

Another job completed and looking fantastic! 💪

Two rooms, a house full of furniture and nowhere to put it… but wait until you see the finish!

🔥 Another flooring transformation completed! 🔥

This one came with a few challenges! 💪

With a property full of furniture and very little space to work with, we had to tackle both rooms separately, moving furniture backwards and forwards as we went.

The biggest challenge? Making sure the luxury vinyl flooring flowed seamlessly throughout both rooms, despite having to complete them in stages.

Here’s what went into the job:

✅ Full uplift and disposal of existing flooring

✅ SP101 plywood installed using ring shank nails

✅ All plywood joints feather finished for a smooth surface

✅ Uplands luxury vinyl flooring installed using F. Ball F58 Plus adhesive

✅ Furniture carefully moved and put back into place

A lot of preparation, a bit of furniture Tetris 🧩 and plenty of attention to detail!

The end result? A lovely, continuous floor flowing beautifully through both rooms. 👌

It’s all in the preparation, and we think the finished result speaks for itself!

⛳ Another job completed at Wellington College! 🏌️‍♂️

We’ve recently installed the flooring in the brand-new golf store at Wellington College, and we’ve finally managed to get back and take some photos now that all the lockers are installed!

WOW! Now that’s some locker space! 👀👏

It’s great to see the whole project come together. The new flooring really complements the lockers, giving the space a smart, clean and professional finish.

Always nice to see the finished result once everything is in place, and we’re really pleased with how this one has turned out!

Another fantastic project to have been involved in! 💪

Another two rooms completed, and what a fantastic finish with these Flotex carpet tiles! 👌

The uplift certainly wasn’t easy, as the existing tiles were fully bonded to the floor, making removal a bit of a challenge! 💪

Once everything was uplifted, we primed the floors and applied a self-smoothing compound to create a smooth, level surface ready for installation.

We then installed the new Flotex tiles using carpet tackifier, giving both rooms a smart, fresh new look.

All rubbish removed and areas left clean and tidy! 🧹

Really pleased with how these two rooms turned out! Another job well done. ✅

🔨 Another Job Completed – Skirting Board Installation! 🔨

Haven’t posted in a while as we’ve been busy getting stuck into plenty of projects! 💪

Here’s a recent job where the customer wanted new skirting boards installed, but with a bit of a twist!

Rather than having the skirting sit on top of the existing wooden flooring, the customer wanted it to go right down to the original floor level, behind the wooden flooring.

To achieve this, we sourced 15mm pre-primed skirting boards that matched the existing skirting in the kitchen, keeping everything looking consistent throughout the property.

After applying two coats of satinwood, we got to work installing them.

It certainly wasn’t the easiest installation, with some tricky areas to work around, but we think the finished result looks great! 👌

The customer was really pleased with the outcome. There’s just a little filling and touching up left to do once the customer has finished painting the walls.

🔜 And we’re not finished here!

We’ll be returning to complete the hallway with some lovely herringbone LVT flooring, followed by new skirting boards to finish everything off nicely.

Looking forward to seeing the whole project come together! 👌

It’s all about attention to detail and getting the finish the customer wants! 🏡

☀️ Busy week in the heat!

Another busy week installing carpets, and with temperatures like this, it’s definitely been a tough one! 🥵

The guys have done a great job pushing through and keeping the standard of work high. 👏

Over 300m2 of traditional carpet and 100m2 of carpet tiles with full prep and furniture

We’ve also got a staircase fully ply-lined and prepped, ready for a deep-fill compound this weekend before the new flooring goes down.

Busy, hot, but another productive week for the team. 💪

Another quality install completed 👌

80/20 wool twist carpet fitted over 9mm high-density underlay — and the difference is in the detail.

Why 80/20?

• 80% wool for durability & natural resilience
• 20% synthetic for added strength
• Holds its appearance in high-traffic areas
• Timeless, high-end finish

Paired with 9mm high-density underlay for:

• Better comfort underfoot
• Improved insulation
• Sound reduction
• Longer carpet lifespan

Too many people underestimate underlay — but it’s just as important as the carpet itself.

With 30 years in the trade, I’ll always advise on the right specification, not just what looks good on the sample board.

Done properly. Done to last.

This one was never going to be straightforward.

To convert the upstairs urinal into a new toilet, we had to install a new 4” waste line — and yes, that meant cracking a few eggs to make it happen.

Once the new waste was in and fully operational, we installed the new cubicle system and reinstated everything back to a high commercial standard.

Problem solving. Precision. Proper finish.

Another commercial washroom upgrade delivered the right way.
