We spent our Halloween packing the van ready for the Humber Bridge farmers market tomorrow. Hope to see you there 🎃

We are just getting the van ready for the market hosted by Little Hummingbird Events tomorrow (Sunday 1st November 9am to 2pm).

We'll have wallflowers, primroses, pansies, salvias, hebes, cyclamen, roses, heather, and many more outdoor plants; as well as indoor plants and our very popular £4 flower bouquets 💐

We hope to see you there 🌼

We had a bouquet building contest, and you can decide the winner.

Do you prefer James' pink bouquet or my autumnal bouquet (Sarah)? We had a limit of 8 flowers and I believe James has cheated 🧐

It ended up too dark for a video but here is some of the lastest stock that arrived today.

We are trying somewhere new this weekend. A little further than we'd normally go but very much looking forward to giving this market a go.

This was sent to us by one of our suppliers. Such a nice gift and put a huge smile on my face 😁

All this rain isn't a bad thing. Well, I'm certainly enjoying it.

My garden is looking healthier again, and I've not had to hand water most of our outdoor stock in a while (which took hours in the summer!). Our water butt levels are currently around 800 litres and counting.

You and your plants can benefit from all this rain too, and not just the outside ones. Houseplants such as spider plants, peace lilies, orchids, venus fly traps, and boston ferns prefer rainwater over tap. You don't have to buy a dedicated water butt either. Just leave a bucket or two outside to collect some rainwater, and your plants will thank you for it 😁

Our salvias are still flowering. Anyone else? (If the wind hasn't blown them away)

We were gifted this concrete house ornament and until now we weren't sure what to do with it. So we shall just be creating small gardens in it using different plants and flowers. Mainly for my own entertainment but I'll post them here anyway.
