This room was said to be ready and decorated for a non verbal autistic adult. His family as you can understand think this is unacceptable. Which I agree. I call this a slap and dash job by the looks of it. The ceiling was flat in one corner that didn’t replicate the pattern. That would drive me nuts so had to sort this out. All walls and cracks sorted. Stripped the door back and prepared properly. Now the skirts and door look less of a eye sore. I worked with the family get his room done whilst they went on holiday. The live in carers said it’s now the nicest room of the house. It was lovely to see him come back all happy about his room. Even had a thumbs up from him with a smile on his face. 🙏☺️

You never know with this weeks weather. But rain doesn’t stop me. I know my army cadet days wasn’t a waste of time. My own make shift tent 😆Using my tarpaulin, bungees & cable ties over made a cover over where I need to work. I will be spraying the wall and painting the door and frame for the exterior part of this house. This will be the last part of working at my current clients house. Made his interior nice and fresh now let’s make the exterior just as nice. 👍

I am happy with the finish of the staircase. The landing and staircase has been done this week. I got the finish exactly how my client wanted. A dark matt grey. I will check this over when I come back next week, then work on his exterior.

I think I entertained my client with the footage he sent over to me on his door bell. Yes one of those days! Forgot the keys and the door shut on its self. I couldn’t contact my client as my phone was left inside also. So I resorted to trying to get over his wall. It worked in the end. Despite my step ladder falling over on the other side and me dropping like a sack of potatoes on the other side. I Just came away with a few scratches. Humpty Dumpty came to mind 😆👌🙃
