sign of life post 🛜 zitozza is still very much alive. if the feed looks slow it is because the studio operates within a disciplined multidisciplinary design practice and zitozza was always engineered to be the slowest burner of them all! a modular system built with patience, block by block.

but, behind the scenes, the long game is underway. a studio reno is on the horizon as we want to restructure the space for more efficient print runs, which means we need to clear some physical inventory.

sunday inspiration ⚽️ joining in the football craze, i'm sharing this brutalist gem from porto. i actually stumbled into it entirely by accident, trying to find a brutalist church and it was the boavista stadium - so i'm pairing with a club pattern on jute, even though they had to quit this year.

i was really impressed how massive it was though and i think those heavy, board-marked vertical lines translate well into the utilitarian fabrics of jute and the textured prints that come alive on them when i leave a black and white ink on it!

texture 🤚 a close-up look at the real foundation of our modular rugs: raw, heavy-duty jute.

when it comes to contemporary flooring, there is a tendency for the industry to over-complicate things with synthetic treatments or rely on flat, uniform textures. we take the exact opposite route. jute possesses an inherent, architectural grit that completely changes how a pattern behaves in a room.
