Time for a look at the rest of our recent project

Here’s what we transformed:

🪜 Under-stairs storage. Made-to-measure cupboards follow the line of the staircase, with oak pull handles that pick up the new oak balustrade.

🛋️ New living space. It opens onto the garden through a full-height corner glazed bay, with herringbone flooring underfoot.

🚪 Porch. A wider, brighter entrance with an anthracite front door and frosted side glazing.

🚽 Downstairs WC. Warm terracotta walls, hex terrazzo tiles, a fluted timber vanity and black fittings.

Our latest garden room, finished and ready to use.

Vertical fluted timber cladding, slim black-framed sliding doors and a crisp flat-roof profile. It’s a clean, modern build that still feels at home beside the original stone house. The warm timber softens the black detailing, and the up/down wall lights frame the entrance once the evening comes in.

Inside, the glazing pulls the garden right into the room. It works as a home office, a gym, a snug or a space to get away for an hour, all just a few steps from the back door.

Soft neutrals, framed in oak.

This one is all about the detail. Every door, drawer and tall unit is outlined in warm oak, giving a clean, handleless kitchen a character you won't find in a catalogue.

At the centre is a waterfall island in veined quartz, with a flush induction hob and built-in downdraft extraction, so nothing interrupts the view through to the garden.

A few of our favourite touches:
▫️ Twin ovens framed in oak at eye level
▫️ A hidden pantry and coffee station behind glazed doors
▫️ Bespoke oak shelving that ties the kitchen into the living space
▫️ Warm under-cabinet lighting for the evenings

White, warm and wonderfully calm.

The White Lodge.

Sat quietly behind mature trees, with nothing but open Yorkshire farmland beyond the garden wall.

Some projects are shaped as much by where they are as by what's inside them. Every sightline here was worked around the view.

Where the old house ends and the new light begins.

Daylight moves across cream shaker cabinetry, a hand-stained oak island and warm brass details throughout.

A few details that make it:
▪️ Appliance cabinet with oak-lined shelves and hidden lighting, so the everyday clutter disappears behind the doors
▪️ Fluted glass dresser in dark oak, matched to the island
▪️ W**e storage built in above the fridge freezer
▪️ Venting hob, which keeps the island clean and the sightlines open
▪️ Wide plank oak flooring running through to the snug and garden doors

It's a space made for living in, not just cooking in.

We shared this bathroom a few months back, but we went back at sundown to see it in a completely different light.

Same room, same tiles, same brushed brass - but the low evening sun coming through the window changes the whole feel of it.

Back at this project as the sun dropped.

Fluted oak island. Sage green cabinetry with brass hardware. A drinks cabinet that opens up like it's been waiting all day. Herringbone underfoot, skylights above, and doors that pull the garden straight into the room.

This shaker kitchen was painted in a deep, dusty blue that shifts with the light throughout the day. We paired it with brushed nickel cup handles, a classic Belfast sink and a marbled quartz worktop that keeps the whole space feeling bright. The oak grain still shows through the paint too, which is one of those little details you only get with proper timber.

With the bifolds open and that lantern roof overhead, this room is flooded with light from morning to night.

Designed, built and installed by us here in Yorkshire.
