Its half term this week which means 1 thing....no baking!

So instead we've headed of to China town to sample some of their delicious bakes and to the lego shop to spend some saved up vouchers!

Its given me a few ideas for my scones for Lunar new year🐉🐲

We've enjoyed fish shaped custard sweet treats, giant pork steamed buns, and extra squishy rainbow cake...which was light as a feather!. 🍰🥟

Now to Finnish the day a lovely glass of Pinot noir while sunshine builds 1/3 legs brought from the lego shop! 🍷

My boozy Christmas pudding scones are full of plump sultanas, sweet currents, crunchy almonds, succulent cherries and warming Christmas spices...oh also a a few glugs of brandy for good measure!

There filled with clotted cream, and topped with homemade sticky caramelised cinnamon almonds!

These will be one of 8 scones served at my Christmas scones tasting!

Trial run for my boozy christmas pud scone!

He's filled will currents, sultanas, flaked almonds, cherries, warming Christmas spices and a good dollop or 5 of brandy ;) 🥃

As october slowly comes to an end my Christmas inspired scones will come out!.
