This week, we’re following Ana.

Our Office Manager & Project Associate, Ana wears many hats throughout the day. From keeping on top of office admin and supporting business operations to assisting with project work behind the scenes.

She plays an important part in keeping everything organised, ensuring the team runs smoothly and that every project keeps moving forward.

What do you think goes on behind the scenes to keep an interior design studio running smoothly?

Some homes just have that feeling…

Warm, cocooning and full of character, this two-bedroom home for Beechcroft Homes in Chinnor is all about creating a space that feels inviting from the moment you step inside.

Think rich, dark woods, deep plum tones and beautiful burgundy accents, layered together to create an interior that feels considered, contemporary and wonderfully lived-in.

We recently had this project photographed, and we’re so excited to finally share a little more of it with you.

A home designed not just to look beautiful, but to feel it, too.

Now, we want to know… are you drawn to the richness of burgundy, or would you always choose a softer, more neutral palette?

Designing for kids?

It’s easy to get caught up in fun themes, but those can date fast! We love creating spaces that grow with your child, using classic colours and sturdy furniture as a base. Want to know how we do it? Here are our 5 favourite tips for designing children’s rooms that last.

We’re delighted to have been featured in both Oxfordshire Living and Cotswold Living magazines.

As a studio, we’re passionate about creating considered, characterful interiors that feel timeless, personal and effortlessly connected to the way we live. To see our work in these wonderful publications is something we’re incredibly proud of.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has been part of our journey, and to our wonderful clients for trusting us to bring their homes to life.

Here’s to creating spaces that feel as beautiful to live in as they are to look at.

A dining table is rarely just a dining table.

It's where homework gets done.

Where birthday cakes are assembled.

Where friends linger long after dinner.

Where you hear about someone's day.

Where Christmas begins.

Where an ordinary Tuesday night can somehow become a memory.

When we're designing a dining space, we think about more than the table and chairs.

How does it connect to the kitchen?
Can it accommodate everyday family life?
Does the lighting create atmosphere?
Is there somewhere to serve from?
Can the room transition effortlessly from Tuesday-night dinner to Saturday-night entertaining?

Because the most beautiful dining spaces aren't designed only for special occasions.

They're designed for all the ordinary moments that become special.

The family living room has a difficult job.

It needs to look beautiful…

…but also survive movie nights, muddy paws, toys, teenagers, Sunday afternoons and the occasional abandoned cup of tea.

Our approach?

Don't design a room around how you wish your family lived.

Design it around how they actually live.

Comfortable seating.
Beautiful but practical fabrics.
Clever storage.
Layered lighting.
Places to put things down.

The result should feel considered, but never so precious that you don't want to use it.

Because a beautiful living room is wonderful.

A beautiful living room that everyone naturally gravitates towards?

That's the goal.

Hannah recently had a lovely morning at Daylesford for their 'Designing the Heart of the Home' panel led discussion. A conversation exploring how the spaces we live in can shape our everyday lives.

What stayed with me was the idea that a kitchen is about so much more than cooking. It’s the place where people naturally come together to share a meal, linger over a coffee, have a conversation, or simply be in each other’s company.

The beautiful spaces at Daylesford brought that idea to life: warm natural materials, generous tables, layered textures, beautiful lighting and a sense of informality that makes you want to sit down and stay awhile.

A reminder that the best kitchens aren’t necessarily the most show-stopping ones, they’re the ones designed around how we actually live, gather and connect.
