As it's officially miserable outside today 🌧 I thought I'd do something fun to help cheer us all up on a dull, rainy day! So, I'm challenge you to share a photo of one little place/thing in your home that always makes you smile 😊 It could be anything! Your favourite lamp, a piece of artwork that you love, your cosiest cushion ... anything in your home that makes you feel warm and happy!

I'll start us off in the comments with one of my favourite little corners of our house.. I love my lamp ( a fab find at Homesense ) and the beautiful Bee gift card purchased from Laura Elizabeth Illustrations which I framed to make a cute little picture. Currently joined by Mr. Pumpkin 🎃 Who seems cheerful enough to be spending October in my Happy Little Corner.

Our lovely selection of fabrics and soft furnishings are most definitely leading the way at my client's beautiful bedroom glow-up in their gorgeous period property in Marden 😊
The pretty 'Ottoman Flowers' printed fabric from Sanderson takes centre-stage and has been trimmed with gorgeous aqua pom-poms to create stunning hand-made roman blinds, along with matching cushions, which will be styled with complementary, soft-trim piped velvet cushions and a bespoke-made headboard.
In addition to this we have created a coordinating, made-to-measure bed valance and reupholstered a beautiful antique dressing-table stool.
Add to this; new and additional lighting, bespoke-made wardrobes, wall-panelling detail, new carpet and a fresh lick of paint... I can't wait for my client to see the final transformation to their room as the finishing touches are completed over the next few weeks 🤍

So exciting to see the great progress being made at my project in Hawkhurst 🤍
Visiting my client yesterday for our follow-up consult, it was so lovely to see our scheme coming together. With my ongoing support, our design plan and product specification, my client has been a busy-bee and our Living Room project is progressing beautifully.
A quick snap 📷 of this little corner gives me the 'warm and fuzzies' as we start to see the room transforming from vision to reality 🥰

🏡Project: Living Room
📍 Location: Aylesford

Items working with: Existing Sofa, Existing Rug (for now), space/access for printer.

When I first met with my client she didn't have a clear direction for this room. Since moving in to their new-build property the Living Room had remained a little bare and uninspiring, typically lacking any real character or warmth.

Working closely with my client and her daughter, we discussed and explored various options and I carried out the research needed to narrow down their like and dislikes, presenting a clear range of ideas. This helped us fine-tune the scheme and create a direction that felt right for everyone.

Throughout the project, I was able to support them through each decision, bringing everything together to create a space that now feels warm, welcoming and inviting — a room that works beautifully for the whole family, as well as visitors, including grandchildren.

It’s been such a pleasure guiding them through the process and seeing the transformation come together. Most importantly, we’ve arrived at a result that everyone is now really happy with... a room that finally feels like a welcoming part of their home that they're now enjoying spending time together in.

It's very exciting to see things progressing nicely at one of my current projects, working with my client on their bedroom makeover in Marden. This week our made-to-measure roman blinds have been installed and now the view inside is just as gorgeous as the view outside 😍
