A day re-caning chairs today.

Whilst we were doing a refresh on the living room and kitchen, we also redecorated the spare room which was looking a little unloved in a cold blue, with a broken blind but a lovely fabric that suited the new paint colour, I mended the blind and we painted the room the same same colour, Doves wing as the living room and added some frosting film to the bottom half of the window for privacy, voila! An updated spare room ready to welcome guests

A beast of a ceiling to paint last week this photo is only half of it and all the furniture had to stay! So extra time and effort getting around this too!
The walls were a little too yellow so we changed them to benjaminmooreuk doves wing with its silvery undertones to pull all the elements of the room together. Thanks to my good friend The Decorative Life for working on this one with me !

Another wee job over the summer to finish off the interior of this summer house.
A bit of retail paint on this one not something I would go for usually but it was ok for the price, after the mist coat it covered in 2 coats, extra coats on the reveals and the finish was nice and flat. Dulux retail not bad

A busy few weeks on catching up with those small jobs people want doing and a holiday too!
Last week I had the pleasure of working with my old mucker Lesley https://www.facebook.com/share/18NVnGEcFK/?mibextid=wwXIfr
We worked on this property some years ago to add some colour to the hall, we were back again to brighten up this utility and kitchen diner .
