Thanksgiving is coming, so Iโ€™m getting my kitchen READY.ย ๐Ÿฆƒ๐Ÿ‚

Thereโ€™s something about this time of year that makes me want to cozy up the kitchen and start pulling out all the pretty serving pieces for the recipes we only seem to make once a year.ย ๐ŸคŽ

I stopped by and found SO many affordable pieces to help me get Thanksgiving-readyโ€ฆ serving bowls, platters, bakeware, kitchen towels, glasses, candles, pumpkins and the prettiest fall touches. And so many of my finds were just $3, $5, $8 and $10!

I love that you donโ€™t have to spend a fortune to make your kitchen feel warm, welcoming and ready for everyone to gather around.

Now I just need the day to arrive so I can start cooking.ย ๐Ÿฅง๐Ÿ

Head to your local pOpshelf to see what you can find for your own Thanksgiving kitchen!

The kids and I had the best time at 4sweetgs farm picking fresh pumpkins off the vine, shucking fresh corn off the stalk and letting them just be wild and free kids running around with their friends at this 100+ year old family farm. We love supporting local farmers and love discovering new farms here in Georgia. If you are near Americus, be sure to check out their self-serve farm stand for all things pumpkins, ice cream and more! In the other seasons they sell strawberries and watermelons too! Weโ€™ll definitely be back!

Thereโ€™s just something so special about learning to do more with your own two hands. โค๏ธ

Whether itโ€™s gathering fresh eggs from your backyard chickens, growing your own vegetables, learning to preserve food, or simply finding ways to become a little more self-sufficient at home.

And hereโ€™s the thingโ€ฆ you donโ€™t have to live on a big farm or have acres of land to get started!

One of the things Iโ€™ve loved most about slowing down and embracing this little farmhouse life of ours is realizing just how much there is to learn. And how rewarding it is to pass those skills along to my children.

But you know whatโ€™s even better? Finding a community of people who love learning and sharing those same things!

Thatโ€™s why Iโ€™m SO excited to be one of 47 contributors to the โ€œUltimate Yardsteading Collection!โ€ ๐ŸŽ‰

Weโ€™ve come together to share over 50 resources covering everything from raising backyard chickens (including my very own Backyard Chickens e-book! ๐Ÿ“) to gardening, preserving food, homesteading skills, and so much more.

Whether youโ€™re dreaming of your first flock of chickens, planning next springโ€™s garden, or just wanting to create a slower, more intentional life at home, thereโ€™s something in this collection for you.

But donโ€™t wait! This collection is only available through November 1!

๐Ÿ‘‡ Comment COLLECTION below and Iโ€™ll send you the link!

Hereโ€™s to learning new things, living a little slower, and finding joy in the simple things. โค๏ธ

I wish more women knew this!

You do โŒNOTโŒ need a traditional publisher to become an author.

I self-published my very 1st book, became a #1 Amazon Best Seller author, and was featured by USA Today withhin a week of publishing.

No literary agent. No publishing deal. No waiting around for someone else to tell me my book was good enough.

And hereโ€™s what I really want you to knowโ€ฆ

You donโ€™t need to be Insta-famous. You donโ€™t need a huge budget. And the only one who needs to give you permission is YOURSELF to become a published author.

You just need to know HOW.

I walk everyday women step-by-step through turning their book ideas into real books they can hold in their hands.

Comment PUBLISH and Iโ€™ll show you where to start!

07/10/2026

You said THIS was the year you were finally going to write your bookโ€ฆ ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ“š

Well, 2026 isnโ€™t over yet.

And you donโ€™t need another year of Googling, overthinking, wondering where to start, or telling yourself youโ€™ll do it โ€œsomeday.โ€

You need a roadmap.

Thatโ€™s exactly why I created Self-Publish With Scarlett. โค๏ธ

Inside, I walk you step-by-step from โ€œI have an idea for a bookโ€ all the way to getting that book onto Amazon.

No publishing experience required.
No traditional publisher required.
No trying to piece together 47 different YouTube videos required. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Just a simple path forward, a community of other future authors doing it alongside you, and me as your publishing bestie cheering you on along the way.

My goal? To help you hold YOUR book in your hands.

Because someday can become this year. โœจ

Ready to finally do this?

Comment BOOK and Iโ€™ll send you the details. ๐Ÿ“–๐Ÿ‘‡

If youโ€™ve been dreaming of big, beautiful thriving hydrangeas for next spring or summer, Fall is actually one of the BEST times to plant them. ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿค

HEREโ€™S WHY:

Planting hydrangeas in the fall gives their roots time to settle in and get established while the temperatures are cooler and the plant isnโ€™t working so hard to produce new growth and blooms.

That means when spring rolls around, your hydrangeas already have a head start. ๐ŸŒธ

A few fall planting tips:
๐ŸŒฟ Plant several weeks before your first hard freeze
๐ŸŒฟ Choose a spot with morning sun and some afternoon shade
๐ŸŒฟ Water deeply after planting and keep the soil consistently moist while the roots establish
๐ŸŒฟ Add a layer of mulch around the base to help protect those new roots and retain moisture

Sometimes the prettiest things we grow in spring start with a little work in the fall. ๐Ÿค

Save this for your fall garden list!

P.S. I planted Limelights who love the Georgia sun!
