Some afternoons pass so quietly that all I hear is the sound of my brush touching the clay. I love those moments because they remind me that every pattern is made one careful line at a time. My grandmother always said that hands remember what the heart practices, and I think about her whenever I paint.

The earth gives us clay, the forest offers natural fibers and seeds, and with a little patience they become something beautiful enough to stay in someone's home for many years. That simple transformation never stops amazing me.
