Ο σχεδιασμός ενός χώρου δεν ξεκινά πάντα από το έπιπλο. Συχνά ξεκινά από τα υλικά που υπάρχουν ήδη γύρω του.
Ένα ξύλινο δάπεδο, μια πέτρινη επιφάνεια, το μέταλλο ενός φωτιστικού ή μια συγκεκριμένη υφή στους τοίχους μπορούν να αποτελέσουν την αφετηρία για την επιλογή των επίπλων, των υφασμάτων και των φινιρισμάτων.
Όταν τα υλικά συνομιλούν μεταξύ τους, η σύνθεση αποκτά συνοχή χωρίς να χρειάζεται όλα να ταιριάζουν απόλυτα. Γιατί ένα πραγματικά ολοκληρωμένο interior δεν είναι θέμα matching. Είναι θέμα ισορροπίας.
Interior design does not always begin with the furniture. Often, it begins with the materials already present in the space.
A wooden floor, a stone surface, the metal of a lighting fixture or a particular wall texture can become the starting point for selecting furniture, fabrics and finishes.
When materials speak to one another, a space gains cohesion without everything having to match. Because a truly considered interior is not about matching. It is about balance.
